Why am I no longer scummy?
Also - why is no one currently more scummy than anyone else?
A vote on no one is a vote that I guarantee you is not on scum, no one is confirmed by the Mod as not scum.

I will agree that, beyond being a conversation starter, there isn't much point to it at all.
People also self vote as conversation starters - I don't see the difference besides that one is less often seen (and therefore, serves the purpose better).
Want to vote Pants?

He posted ample info for it to be a joke post in my opinion as soon as he noted that RVS was over (or that conversation had started, I forget his exact phrasing). That is pretty much a mic drop on a "I did this to start reactions" making it a reaction test. Now, we can debate whether it was a real or fake reaction test, I guess, but beyond that I really fail to see how people are still hung up on it now that we have reactions to the test, which are far more interesting.

You became less scummy after I thought about and didn't want to be responsible for getting the cop lynched Day 1 and thereby possibly making my life and the rest of towns life's that much more harder with no cop to help discover who the scum really is. So I'm currently leaning towards PC and my reasoning now is that you have claimed cop and PC has claimed to be a mafia roleblocker so essential if both your and PC's statements are true the scum can role block you all game and just murder us one by one while you would be unable to successful investigate any so that we aren't just stumbling around in the dark randomly accusing each other hoping that we might lynch a scum in the process.

Very happy with where my vote is right now.

Yeah, if I was you I'd try to avoid addressing the issues raised there as well.
If I was scum.

It matters because it makes your case equally valid as a case for him being town as a case for him being town - I've said this to you already.
How is that confusing you?
In post 83, Pants98 wrote:I pointed out how the first few times you hopped you didn't provide any reason.
Ignoring that there are fairly clear implicit reasons for both votes - how was my lack of reasoning scummy in those twonces exactly?
In post 83, Pants98 wrote:You didn't say it should affect my read until after I responded. As I said earlier your question manipulated me into giving an answer that lets you make me look like scum.
Yes, I understand this is your story.
As I already stated in my last reply post to you - I don't buy it, and I discussed my reasoning. if you'd like to debate that info, I'm willing, but if all you want to do is repeat what I already take as a cover story to me - there's no point. I'm aware that is your initial response, and have responded to it already. I am now at the stage of trying to get other people to look at it and understand it as the scummy dodge I see it as.

You can vote Pants for him being named after an article of clothing for all I care - my issue with you is you're not engaging your thoughts.
Even if (for whatever reason, i know lots of people have it, though I find it silly) you consider your vote too sacred to place willy-nilly you can still offer thoughts on what's going on. You feel like you're trying to play cards close to your chest. If you're scum, continue, it's a good plan. If you're town and are working super secret tells that are spoiled if you reveal them, continue, but be prepared to justify that reality, if you're town who is just assessing where to place a vote - weigh in on a few reads and value calls now, please and thank you.If you are utterly lost - vote Pants
As a quick reference I point you to Micc's second to last post, wherein without placing a vote he was able to offer valid value calls on where he stood on some issues in the thread.

A: In post 40 the question you asked and the question you seem to want me to have answered are different. The way you worded it ("does this concern you?") asks if I'm concerned. As in scared or worried. Of course it didn't scare me that two theories I made were wrong. Why would it? But what I see in you're newer posts implies you asked me "Does this change anything?". If you wanted me to answer that question then why didn't you ask it? Of course I didn't tell you that my opinion changed because the answer to "does this concern you?" is not "I don't think PC is scum anymore,". It's either "Yes it terrifies me." or "No it doesn't.". I think you asked me "does this concern you?" because you wanted me to give the answer I did. You tricked me. I gave an answer that didn't change my opinion. You made sure I wouldn't by giving a question that didn't warrant one. After that add a few mistakes I made like saying he is noob scum or noob town instead of just saying he is noob, and you have a pretty solid case that everyone will believe.

I claim this because I’ve actually done the exact same thing when I started playing mafia. A cop (who was insane) happened to claim that someone who was a townie was actually mafia. The mafia jumped on the chance to suddenly have so easy of a town lynch and the town turned around and used that against us since that was their plan all along. They got two of my mafian teammates using that method. It’s certainly not to say that I’m certain that I’m correct, but it is certainly a good place to start observing.

That is not part of my job as the IC beyond being personally active.

Do you think after announcing this a vote on Hobbes "to get hi talking" would have any benefit at all? Why/why not?
In post 78, Micc wrote:
I think that's a pretty common misconception. Proper lynch wagons don't just happen in the blink of an eye. The wagon needs to get to L-1, have an intent to hammer, the claim needs to be discussed, all of the previous voters need to reaffirm their intent to stay on the wagon. There is nothing limited about that amount of discussion.
The real issue comes when the deadline is 24 hours away and the largest wagon is 2 votes. Rush through the lynching process and you lose out on lots of valuable discussion. I'm a pretty firm believer that if you're not trying to push through a lynch wagon you're just sitting around.
