re: knowledge devotion
Another knowledge you might want to consider is dungeoneering, for abberations.
Will we face a lot of aberrations this campaign?

Someone else can take that. Knowledge Devotion (for me) gives me AWESOME bonuses on damage and attack rolls with a knowledge check. Well, awesome later on.
“Why was I chosen?'
'Such questions cannot be answered,' said Gandalf. 'You may be sure that it was not for any merit that others do not possess. But you have been chosen, and you must therefore use such strength and heart and wits as you have.”
Also, FG, should I dump WIS and CHA down a bit more to get another INT mod? It'll get me more skill points, which I think is a good idea.

I know what Knowledge Devotion is. The joke just went over your head because you weren't there.

Oh...

Ok, I'm still laughing about the "quick draw and multiple crossbows" idea.
Let's just carry around 5 crossbows. Yep, that's plausible.

Are we all going full glass cannon? Wow, we better have a good tank, and someone needs to take cleric.

Oh, and I've never thought to ask until now, but do you allow retraining feats? I'd assume not, but if so, there is one that's useful for low level but gets substantially less useful after that.

No retraining.
Ok. That's what I figured.
@Mick You see that question mark? It needs to disappear.

Do skill points for increased INT apply retroactively, like CON does for hit points?

Now I'm starting to wonder if I should go with high INT for more knowledge. More knowledge leads to more damage, just as STR does.

In post 2494, FakeGod wrote:While knowledge devotion feat is recommended in a number of duskblade handbooks out there, it's mostly a trap.
Highest damage duskblade build is the one that minimizes Int in favor of pumping Str.
Well, with a fighter BAB, I'm not sure why that would be the case. The only enemy that doesn't really work with knowledge devotion is humanoids, which I haven't seen us fight too many of

At that level, I do see why, sorta.
I mean, you could explain it more to me. I don't keep up with this stuff.

I know the extra damage takes a check, but it also has the potential to be much higher. But oh well.
