Cops are extremely common in RM games. Most of what I play is RM, and there has yet to be one in a RM game I've been in.

We have 2 options, if you think DK is scum then you lynch it. If you think DK is town then they direct their power where they see fit. Chaining a PR is simply giving scum all the power over it.

Think about it like this. We tell DK to investigate Dom. They can't kill DK because Ranger is watching him. So if Dom is scum he can't do anything if he doesn't have a godfather role. If he's town, we either get an innocent investigation or we force scum to kill him. Either way we win. What's wrong with this plan?

No. As long as both DK and Ranger are both town, the plan works and is a great idea. Ranger watches DK, and DK investigates Dominator. Worst case scenario is that we get just one result.

Worst case scenario? No, such can go a million ways. There are a lot of possible roles and many of them can take that plan and destroy it. It is not a bad idea, in and of itself, by any stretch of the imagination. Telling scum what is going to happen IS a HORRIBLE idea. Period.

I'm willing to lynch BBT as a compromise. Would prefer Dom/Scrouge. What do you think of those 2?

Do you have a case on either? Dom seems more like an empty slot. Not much there other than naked voting. Very few posts of content. He is only slightly scummy. What is your case on ARS - there is much more content there and I have not been reading him as scummy.

See, DK, I played a game once where I was tracker and I confirmed nightactions, and then the next night townies died because I was a scum tracker. And there was a 3rd party dayvig. And a survivor. I don't know what to expect in games like this so I expect everything and nothing at the same time. (btw, this game was with my main so no link)

The dayvig shot my 2 buddies but eventually shared the win with me, I was BP as well and due to flavour he couldn't shoot me. I was also protected and neighbourized by town in that game.

There is no information about whether or not there is a 3rd party, if there is I missed it, in that case point me to it. So we don't know. At least, I don't know.

I want to believe you re jeanne, but you're just not a strong enough townread for me rn.

I see you have tagged random threads but if you are honestly suggesting that Watchers are deemed stronger than Cops or Doctors I question your sincerity on the issue.

Not stronger than cops, but considered stronger than doctors. Yes. I believe that. If I were to list the strongest five common town roles, I'd go Hider, Cop, Watcher, Doctor, and then probably Gunsmith, with Neapolitan in a distant sixth. (Vig would be seventh.) So, while not stronger than cops, they're pretty on par with cops power-wise. This is not news. Any player with any level of experience knows this.

That role is in my opinion a Hider. That I would love. Cop would be second. That, also, I would love. In the case of Hiders, smart investigations get me innocent after innocent, and with any competency at all with breadcrumbing targets, a guilty if I target scum. For cops, if I live through the night, I get investigation results. If I don't, then hopefully a watcher was on me. If there wasn't a watcher on me, then we know there's probably not a protective role in the game to save me.

Watcher, on the other hand...a watcher's job is to

I noticed them individually. I did not notice them as a group. If I don't see it in a votecount, then I don't think about it. There was no announced wagon. A wagon must have existed, but I didn't take note of it.

For the watcher -- 1) Watcher is more often a Mafia role than a Town role.
