Given that I'm having internet issues/ more RL problems than I expected, I've requested to replace out so whoever fills my slot has more time to catch up. I'll be around to post for a bit, however.

I don't know what the vote count is and I don't know much about what has happened in the time I've been preoccupied, but I am 90% sure that my vote is on the right player. Trying to CFD at this point is almost guaranteed to hit a town.

no my point is this will happen regardless of posties alignment whether shes lying scum or town pr, because the straight-off chance of her getting a guilty is 1/3 if she is town, and that is ignoring the chance of a town vig or scum doc and the fact that all of my scumreads are in her town pile

im irritated that she had been pretty scummy but youre willing to let her off because she just said "im a gunsmith"

@Fire, post 644 - I'm not talking about what I find townie very much this game because I don't want to give the scum too much information about what I think town should act like. They might alter their behaviour to slip under my radar. You make a good point, however, as I am taking this mantra to the extreme without realising it and thus haven't explained my reads properly, so I'll get around to that in a future post.

Although Murdercat is there mostly because I can't see anything overtly scummy with what he says, I need to reread Innocent's posts because I'm starting to think that my scum-read is because of site differences, and I keep flip-flopping on Lapsa. Take post 635 for example. The fact that he voted me after Garmr made his case on me feels like he was trying to set up an association between the two of us in case he flips. (aka, that he wanted it to look like he was chainsawing) And then JarJar defends me later on. I can't shake off the feeling that it's deliberate and I don't like it.

I am willing to switch votes to JarJar but I would like to take him up on his offer to be questioned first.

@Jake, post 649 - I checked the VC on #450 (I think) and Lapsa had 4 votes, so no idea where you got 2 votes from.

Gunsmith is far from a 'very powerful' role. It's pretty obvious that it's a claim to get a CFD on a townie before she gets lynched D2. Skip the first step and lynch her now.

She's probably a gunsmith. Gunsmith isn't exactly a role I would fake claim. It also means town has probably got power roles with guns as well.

That means that if she is gunsmith, the smallest benefit that leaving her alive will provide is to eat the roleblock.
If there isn't a roleblock, then the role is powerful right? It returns true if she checks scum or vig?

Nothing about what I said assumes there is a roleblock. Although, there probably is, right? Just considering what roles normally are.

It means Chinese Fire Drill, where players all bandwagon and lynch a player that wasn't previously on the table for a lynch close to the deadline. Given the lynch is often poorly-planned, it's not a good thing.

The games I've played have had 36-48 hour day lengths so it probably isn't as applicable here.
