Myko, you're arguing against me with current 6.9 win rates, while I've been arguing up to 6.8. I'm really hesitant to go into them currently since too much has changed for only a few days worth of experience isn't enough to get a handle on the updated meta yet.
You're also overestimating Last Whisper. Like I said in the post before, what it does is amplify your existing damage against tanks and nothing else since it barely gives any AD on top of that. Last Whisper would give you only around 22% extra damage to tanks assuming only Sunfire+Iceborn without armor runes, but that's based off the reduced damage you would do without the last whisper. I've been unimpressed with last whisper as a third item whenever I felt I needed to get one, and I've noticed that my damage output improves overall when I ignore it as a third item.
If it was still all armor, then it would be different.
You don't get the point.
If ALL adc's could kill tanks in 2 autos, all the adcs would have win rates around 50%. I bet you would call adcs op in that situation. So therefore saying "All mages have around a 50% win rate therefore they're not broken" is illogical.

Yeah ADCs really had it hard iver the past years with the triple ad comps as of late. Cant remember we had mages being relevant in most roles at all. Maybe its because if Ads get buffed it makes 80% of the champs irrelevant. Let Ads be irrelevant for once

wat
The marksman update is the biggest reason why this happened since they overtuned several of them and most happened to be best in other roles besides adc.

If ADCs could kill tanks in 2 autos no other class would be relevant and you know it.

not even remotely true

I'm aware, but the adcs would still have around 50% win rates because all of them are op.
Like ok let me explain myself better.
Let's assume adcs 2 shot tanks but for some reason were still played exclusively in the adc role.
So they would all have around a 50% win rate based on how good they were in RELATION to the other adcs. It doesn't matter that they are all OP in relation to the other roles cause every team has an adc.
Or alternatively:
Let's assume the average champion is 5/10 on how good they are.
If all roles except mages were 2/10 at how good they were and there was a list of mages:
A: 6/10
B: 7/10
C: 8/10
D: 9/10
E: 10/10
A could have a 47%
B 49%
C 51%
D 53%
E 55%
It doesn't matter that mages are op since their win rates are determined through how they good in relation to other champions.

You're saying to sacrifice the balance of every other class and make them useless just so ADCs can be broken as fuck. That's the worst balance decision I've ever heard.
Not even that would be correct, either - some ADCs would still do that job better than others. By the way, most ADCs already have winrates of over 50%. Since you're plat and champion.gg uses only data from plat+, let me give you this list I made based on winrate in the bottom lane alone:
Sub 50% (from highest to lowest winrate):
Jhin
Vayne
Kalista
Tristana
Corki
Urgot
-
Over 50% (from highest to lowest):
Twitch
Ashe
Sivir
Quinn
Kog
Jinx
MF
Caitlyn
Draven
Varus
Ezreal
Lucian

Holy fuck.
I AM USING AN EXAMPLE. I AM NOT SAYING THAT IS HOW THE GAME SHOULD BE BALANCED. GNIEWSHOHTH
If you don't compare winrate to playrate it hardly matters. Urgot has a high winrate but he rarely sees play so it's more likely he's being played by those that play him more often. Lucian is an all around ADC that is often played even by those with ADC as a secondary role, so it makes sense his winrate is lower. I'd say with more people playing mages now, we're gonna see winrates plummet as well.
Jhin and Kalista are both meta ADCs for their lane phase. Vayne is Vayne and will always be popular. According to champion.gg, Trist is 8th in playrate among ADCs, so around average. The only 2 low playrates are Urgot (duh) and Corki (where they nerfed his passive auto damage).
