i dont think a lurker lynch is so bad in a setup like this where there's clearly going to be one scum making the least amount of associations they can. the question is which of the least-amount-of-association people is the bad guy and which of them is the bad people in general

fucking stab in the dark and we're wrong and he flees, I can send my shot toward quil or Nos, who seem his most likely partners in my head.

If I'm wrong I have a few more suspects in Kuroi, Kats, and Muffy but none of them are as strong.

Also as I'm typing this I realize Quil was absent a hot minute before now, maybe Quil's scum regardless?

like, either we find some way to unite everyone behind a read that everyone feels good about or we're going to have to condense onto something we dont like.
at some point you either need to dig in your heels and try to convince people of something/have a real dialogue or the game is going to end with a flat rush-compromise.

im pretty confident this is heading towards the latter.

If Quilford were scum, then 1) he would barely be posting, and 2) what he would post would be a lot less carefree and relaxed. My team has seen him as scum. He's town unless he took a level in Machiavelli over the summer. (But frankly, he just reads as pretty genuine anyway.)

My experience with Quilford is that he hates scum and tends to lurk when he draws it. I can see him still being active D1 in brief spurts, but 1) probably not staying up until 3 AM, and 2) also probably scumreading people for really bad reasons.

Quilford was scum in that game. That's my point: he's readable, not very good as scum, and is known for being flaky when he draws it.

Therefore, if Mina doesn't want to lynch me, I am almost certainly not scum (unless I'm scum with her).
For obvious reasons, Mina is not scum with me.
Also, Mina has not expressed any desire to lynch me.

Asks a bunch of "I'm not actually catching up so tell me stuff" questions, does a 20 page catchup in which questions are asked and never answered and never brought up again (I didn't even notice this)

Caught up Nos posting reads lists and joining conversations without standing firmly anywhere, much like most players in this game.

The only thing that really strikes me reading this ISO is Nos's pivot from "show me the important things" and "Here are people who are possibly scum" to "I'm caught up and have no scumreads." You could convince me that's the move of a smart scum who, upon catching up, read the game accordingly and blended in. In a vacuum.
