there are so many legendaries that see play and although i'm glad that decks are changing, i'm sad that i don't have the dust to craft the decks that i want to play.
nzoth, yogg, xaril, huhuran, rag, fandral, and i'd totally experiment with the shaman healer and malkorok
i guess i'm happy that i opened twin emperor because it's one of the best legends but cthun doesn't really appeal to me
did another ms user do something lovely? recognize their achievements here!

Today's modern mafia consumer demands dozens, nay, hundreds of roles that are vanilla cops.

I've got 71/113 total legendaries for Standard. I have most of the ones I would ever play though. Huhuran is the only big one left that I'm missing. I'm missing all the WOTOG class legendaries except Fandral & Lightlord

I want to play Rogue, but every list I look up runs BMT and EVC, and most also run Malygos. That's three legendaries I'm missing!
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

is rag light lord good?

it looked really underwhelming tbh
Routine day with a dirt cheap brush
Then a week goes by and it goes untouched
Then two, then three, then a month
Then the rest of your life, you beat yourself up

Light Rag is fantastic in Control Paladin and N'Zoth Paladin, and terrible in all other decks.

Yeah I have the same issue with Rogue. Most of the elite deck list have EVC and Xaril. Don't have either of those.

So the Dreamhack Austin Top 16 decklists are out.

Warrior (Control, Tempo), Shaman (Aggro, Midrange), and Warlock (Zoo) are all super common/dominant. Rogue also had a very good showing (Miracle, Maly), so lol @ everyone who thought Rogue would die with the BF nerf.

No hunters. Mage also had a weak showing.

Aggro Shaman is probably just going to be the meta-defining deck at this point. Not too bad, given that it has a fairly flat matchup spread against anything that isn't super-greed control.

To be fair, when the rotation nerfs came out, the fact that BF was getting nerfed and Rogue wasn't getting anything particularly good in the expansion to make up for it. Then Xaril turned out to be better than expected, and the format mostly slowed down, making Gadgetzan Auctioneer a lot better. So that did kind of come out of nowhere. I am surprised that C'thun Druid didn't turn out to be among the top, though.

As much as I hate playing Aggro Shaman, I like that it's so strong, since it keeps deck-builders honest. The format mostly slowed down, and between slow decks, the greedier usually wins. But you can't get too greedy, or Aggro Shaman and Zoolock face-roll you.

Yeah, and the fact that you can't ban BOTH out in tourney play means that you can't be super greedy there, either (since there are bound to be players who are running both or one + Tempo Warrior)

Like, people bitch about aggro being no-skill and unfun to play against, but they prevent the game from devolving into "play the things that just give the most value because lol you're never under early pressure"

Well this week's Tavern Brawl is dumb.

11-1 with Target Dummy / Bolster, the 1 loss being a time I drew 9 TDs and no Bolster.
