Notice how the vote count has remained static since before the site went down, even with a reasonable amount of discussion. I don't think any of the three vote leaders (Clumsy, Joe, and Kuroi) are scum.

Unfortunately, if that's true, then that means that one of my town reads is wrong. I'm pretty sure that it isn't Lane, so that just leaves Lilith, MoI, and TTH. So, which one of you is scum with Snarky?

Clumsy: His pressure vote on me. I didn't catch that he was scumreading other people, which you pointed out, but I thought it was scummy for him to just pick somebody seemingly at random to pressure vote on page 8. There wasn't any mention of my content, so it wasn't like he had read my post and was like, "your post doesn't make sense, this is scummy" and voted me. Which makes me think even more that he just plucked my name out of thin air.

The other thing that's bothering me is that Clumsy seems like he's trying to offer commentary on the game without really getting involved. There's no real attempt to interact with his scumreads and push them. Could it just be that he's town having a hard time getting engaged? Possibly..

He’s voting you because you were not around and you ostensibly had an RVS vote hanging. And he later cops in 189 that it is less you being scum but wanting contributions from you. Yet I looked at your joint ISOs. By 186 you had a combined 33 posts. 12 by him and 11 by you. And reviewing said ISO it is clear you are not shirking from commentary. Lots of questions and comments in things on the thread. In fact you posted 152 at 10:17am Tuesday. 186 from Clumsy comes at 3:18pm the same Day. I don’t buy for a second that he thinks you aren’t active when you posted literally 5 hours before he made that vote.

Javajoe: again, just this strange lack of interaction. There's no explanations behind his readslist and there's no transparency in his posts showing his progression towards that readslist. Also I think his sudden move from scumreading Xk to townreading him was a little scummy, I feel like just to kind of "go with the flow" and vote for someone who people were more willing to lynch. (I can't remember exactly but I think at that point no one was scumreading Xk, or at least not strongly, other than Joe.)

So, think about it from a scum perspecitve.

You're right, most of the discussion has been focused on MoI's catchup. However, there are enough people that have me in their scum pile that, if scum wanted to, they could fairly easily move the wagon onto me. Yet, I am sitting here with not a single vote on me. So, that tells me that scum really isn't interested in my lynch right now. Therefore, I can assume 2 things.

1. That, somewhere along the way, my reads are wrong enough that scum isn't too concerned about me, and
2. That all 3 of the other lynch candidates (because that's absolutely what they are at this point. If we keep going like this, one of those 3 will definitely be lynched) are all town. Otherwise, scum would be trying to move the focus to someone else (I would be a perfect candidate, right now).

What do you think I'm doing with this discussion primarily? Are you this focused on surface level behavior that I need to explicitly say "I want you to vote Clumsy"? Of course I do. That's why I spent the time in that post showing exactly why what he claims as motivation for that sequence doesn't come from a Town oriented thought process.

Okay, yes I get that part.. But why do you think that's alignment indicative? Do you think that scum wouldn't be questioning a baseless vote on themselves?

When I am making reads as a Town player and I see someone also making similar reads to mine I tend to find a good sign they are more likely to share my alignment. This, of course, is dependent on further confirmation. Clumsy flips Town in the future here on Earth 1 and that portion of my read is out the window.

I don't read that and think, "Clumsy is trying to direct the conversation back to lane and kuroi's early arguing." Yeah, he mentions them, but I'm just not picking up what you're saying happened from this post.

Well … this is one of those agree to disagree circumstances I guess. I see it as pretty clear attempt to get Soren's focus off himself and onto the Lane versus Kuroi 1v1. Which if both are Town serves scum well to keep the game state focused on them and choosing sides in their conflict.
