So h2k loses Forg1ven to gain Freeze, OG loses Zven and Mithy to gain Forg1ven and Hybrid, and G2 lose Emperor and Hybrid to gain Zven and Mithy.
G2 definitely win this, as they're getting a pre-packaged bot lane that plays very well together. Forg1ven could potentially do super well in OG's "let the ADC carry" setup, but we'll see how he meshes with Hybrid and the team overall. h2k probably just do better with Freeze than Forg1ven.
I'd say G2 gain a lot, h2k gain a fair bit, and OG could be anywhere from catastrophically bad to pretty good.
i've said this before, but it would have to be a pretty big drop for me to want forgiven on my team. I don't know who the out and out best ADC among Zven, Freeze and Forgiven is, but Forgiven isn't so much ahead that I'd want him over that. (If I had to hazard a guess it'd be Forgiven, Zven, Freeze on pure talent).

Never heard of the other two people they picked up, but they seem promising enough?

So they go from creating a superteam of established players to picking up "talent".
There are a couple of ways to look at that, I guess. One could be that since TSM is a succesful org, they'd pick the best players from lesser teams and that way stay succesful. However, halfway the split there aren't any good supports that they can actually buy out so they are stuck and have to pick up someone completely new. I get that they would most likely want a NA support (junglers fall off faster past the top and sven's got to go). Aphro and xpecial are out (those bridges are burned), bunny and matt are probably happy where they are, so you'd be looking at someone like gate? Second is that TSM actually chooses as a strategy to invest in someone new, which idk, is a really quick strategy change in one split. You might even call it whimsical.
Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.
Xpecials bridge is burned only in the sense that hes not good enough to be on TSM's roster? When he retires I can't imagine him not being on their network.
I guess we have different views on the word whimsical.

I really think it's more of them being in a bit of a pinch? I dunno, I felt like the YellOwStar back to Europe thing came out of nowhere and there hasn't been a lot of actual roster turnover this offseason for them to have a market. They're not going to go back to the Xpecial well, and the Aphro bridge isn't so much burned (not that it ever existed, but if you're going to bring it up...), it's more CLG would be absolutely beyond stupid to break up this roster at the current moment. There wasn't a whole lot of available talent at this juncture, so it was kind of out of necessity. They'll run him for a split, and if he doesn't pan out, there will be talent aplenty again in the actual offseason.
