If GIF were to make a continuous item of Animal's X, could he use the formula for custom continuous spell effect rather than the formula for ability score enhancement?

Why would you want to do that?

Gauntlets of Ogre Power +4 costs 16000g.

Gauntlets of continuous Bull's Strength cost 2 (spell level) x 3 (caster level) x 2000 (continuous) x 2 (1min/lv) = 24000g.

Summary

PCs got lured in by illusion of a girl and then almost got eaten by tentacles. Then, they rushed into the cult lair where they faced off vs a blood ooze and almost lost Saag like 4 times, but they won in the end and were rewarded with a lot of loot.

Maria offers nothing but the letter. Being train guards allow you to be carrying weapons on the train. Payment to you will come from Captain Regul. You may ask Maria about the city of Bogata, and the guards there.

Millie offers a scroll of your choice. It must be 6th level or lower, and the spell must have no additional xp/material costs. Being in the luxury compartment gets you good food and better social stature while talking to NPCs on the train. You may ask Millie for additional descriptions of Alexandria.

Dr. Benedict offers nothing but the letter. He knows some people who can sneak you inside the mithral ore crates being shipped to Bogata via the steam locomotive. He suggests that you and him split the extorted money 50/50. You may ask Dr. Benedict about the Red Pillar guild.

Can we take multiple missions? Could we say take Benedict's mission then also take another person's mission so that we're not hobo?

Saag will probably take Maria's and Benedict's quests. For intimidating that guy I don't have intimidate but none of us do and I have very very large muscles, Mage slayer, favored enemy (arcanists) (which only gives me +bluff, not +intimidate unfortunately), and disguise. (So I can appear to be someone totally different and he'll never find the real me. He's probably not walking around with true seeing/discern shapechanger. The former requires material component, the latter has a duration of 1 round/level)

For Maria's quest, if I see the thief I can take him out. Someone with better spot and see/purge invis should also come along though.

people usually are like "hey wanna do stuff for me" and if i feel like i'm being conned, suddenly their money bag goes missing.
