Seriously. We now have confirmation: during N1, we had an SK-kill, a mafia-kill, and a 1x vig kill (probably) floating around.
Instead of three bodies, we got two.
During N2, we had a mafia kill floating around.
Instead of a body, we all lived.

So it's pretty obvious from this that the mafia kill, for whatever reason, has failed. Incidentally, my reads remain unchanged from yesterday:

I'm thinking OceanWind since my townread on Masq is still a thing. the acryon case from d3 still applies even if I got cold feet on the subject.

Day 1 acryon spent awhile scumreading Creature but ended up not voting Something_Smart, denying town of a d1 lynch.
Day 2 acryon votes what we thought was the cop guilty tho acryon doubtcasts it and it turns out pisskop was hooked and the target was SK.
Day 3 acryon leads wagon on Willow, who flips town
Day 4 acryon is second on the mafia wagon, liked CBD's case.
Day 5 acryon leads wagon on Klingon, who flips town

First off, it was mylo. Instead of just massclaiming immediately, you and Will did a whole song and dance about it and I had to explain precisely why massclaiming at mylo is a given.

Then Will decides to not claim at all and instead soft a PR making it more difficult to figure out the game. Finally he outs as VT.

The towncasing is bad in general but in his position I can see it coming from town.

Wanting a massclaim at the beginning of the day was towny to me at the time but as time went on and you got into your argument with Will about his specific role it started to really look like you were just trying to rolefish right from the get-go so you wouldn't make a misstep. And you say scum having the ability to quickhammer doesn't matter but I strongly disagree, and I really don't buy that mindset. Like, of course it fucking matters. It could be the difference between a win and a loss here, if scum think they have to be cautious even when they have the hammer.

The frustration is meh to me. Pretty much everyone here has shown some amount of frustration. I haven't seen anything out of you that looked particularly genuine. Masq had some posts a couple days ago that looked "really genuine" to me, so I'm not a stranger to the concept. I don't get that feeling from you though. Especially in your position I can see it being faked. It's a mantra of mine, actually; "Everyone towntells with the hammer over their head."

The questioning isn't like, amazing either. Scum love asking questions rather than making direct statements. It deflects attention. I've caught scum from the fact that all they're doing is asking questions because it makes it look like they're hunting but they never actually make assertions which people can take objection to. And not that you've done that, you've taken some stances, but you've also neglected to read the entire game so there's not much to argue with you on in that regard. good game guys. sorry i had to make it so underhanded and emotional near the end. esp sorry to OceanWind for the constant smear campaign. a fresh set of eyes on a mylo day is a really dangerous thing; i basically felt i had no option but to discredit you constantly. you were on the right track which is exactly why i kept trying to rush things. i was worried it was making it obvious, but I felt like the longer this game went on the more likely you'd get Will or Masq to seriously re-evaluate their position. i'm not much of a town player, but I don't lose as scum.

sorry masq and will. i don't lose. the game being short a PR was definitely a handicap for scum though i do like to think it wouldn't have made that much of a difference if it was just a 1-shot doc. Will was basically the clear in mylo. i was kind of surprised when RadiantCowbells wasn't saved the night I shot him, so I suppose that could have changed things significantly depending on how strategic the doc was. of course, a roleblocker would have been a huge change. you'll actually see in the scum PT that there was a point I was considering no killing way earlier in the game, right after I bussed heuristically_alone, just to draw out a potential roleblocker. ended up deciding against it. woulda been an embarrassing error now that we know the mod error had to do with missing a PR lmao.
