It's an undeniable fact that townies execute gambits frequently (in my experience more frequently than scum). You can't just say it's a scumtell and *poof* it's a scumtell.
The fact that you're admitting that itappearsscummy to you even though you know it'snotscummy is tantamount to confessing you're faking your reads.-

Something isn't scummy to you or anyone person. It is either scummy or it isn't. Gambits are not scum tells. In post 125, Javajoe24 wrote:I don't like the idea of people being intentionally dishonest, and is a scum tell to me. I think S_S is town
UNVOTE:
Where am I making a big deal in my posts? If you show me where I "made a big deal", I'll answer this.In post 54, drmyshottyizsik wrote:This is a complete misrep of what happened. It was a perfectly fine question. Why are you making a bid deal ou of someone making a not so big deal out of something?
Mollie's comments I thought were pretty NAI. I liked BBT's 39 so I wasn't a fan of mollie's 41, but town!mollie and I have disagreed on reads before so I didn't see much there yet.In post 55, Something_Smart wrote:Ok I'll rephrase that then. @Guilty what do you think about BBT's and mollie's comments regarding each other?
:some scumreads
WhiteLight feels over-explainy, especially 87. I also think they're making way too much out of shotty's "intent" to hammer, I didn't read it as a serious intent for a lynch.
but javajoe is worse
This is both deflecting blame for his shotty vote onto WhiteLight slot, and then also setting up for a SS lynch if a shotty lynch goes through on D1.In post 110, Javajoe24 wrote:Post 85 is a total scum slip in my opinion. And from my experience with suz she has been right every time!So...
VOTE: shotty
Why would you intend to hammer someone that you are not confident is scum? Especially with so much time left in the day.I do not like that gambit that SS pulled though, and he is definitely my second scum read.
VOTE: javajoe
^(current voters are shotty, mollie, WhiteLight, me)This is L-1
finally,In post 103, Something_Smart wrote:His play here seems not as logical"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. Hence the FoS. This is terribly scummy. Almost acting like they are going to hammer if they don't claim. I know they didn't say intent to hammer, but it was still overly aggressive and shows a lot of opportunism on their behalf. In post 137, Something_Smart wrote:^true but shotty you ought to know that someone on a wagon at L-1 has no leverage to force a claim.
Mollie, why do you want java to claim?#freeShotty-

k now I'm confused as to why shotty was aggressive with respect to the S_S wagon but then suddenly backs off on the javajoe wagon
like that's absurdly inconsistent"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"-

I didn't know they were already voting when I unvoted. In post 141, Something_Smart wrote:But you also admitted that Mollie can't actually lynch Java. So the fear of a fast lynch based off of that post is unfounded. Why, then, did you unvote?
As for why I'm backing off this vs the SS wagon, I was pressuring SS and wanted to see how SS squirmed, but with java I thought we were about to have a quick hammer. In other words, I wasn't in control of weather or not java was hammered like I was on SS, and that scares me. Last thing we need is a quick lynch day one, and I really don't like the way mollie just did that,#freeShotty-

I didn't say it was or wasn't ok. I said I didn't have the same level of control so it worries me more. I knew I wouldn't hammer you.In post 144, Something_Smart wrote:So it's okay foryouto threaten to hammer to see the reaction...but it's not okay for anyone else to do the same thing?#freeShotty-

I can see how you would be worried about a lynch... but now how does the FoS fit in with this? According to you, Mollie was trying the same thing that you did, except that you didn't know she wouldn't hammer the way you knew you wouldn't (except you didn't bother to look and see if she even could hammer). So how can you scumread her for doing that?-

I interpreted your FoS to be a weak scumread, a scumlean if you'd prefer to call it that. Regardless of semantics, you found her action scummy. Also, asking for a claim and giving intent to hammer are virtually equivalent.
What is your current read on Mollie? What did you mean by the FoS, if not that she was leaning scum?-

I don't have a full read, and by FoS I meant Finger of Shame. I am wagging my finger in shame. In post 148, Something_Smart wrote:I interpreted your FoS to be a weak scumread, a scumlean if you'd prefer to call it that.
