That is exactly the sentence that first pinged me with Dix. I think it was the attempt to direct the kill strategy that got me, combined with this perhaps overly self-conscious "Oh I've screwed up too!" line and, in general, him taking the "Mafia"/"scum" thing more seriously than I would expect Town to do.

There's nothing seriously bad; it is more the absence of anything really good, in terms of scumhunting or general Townness. What I really would like at this point is more input from the guy. Much more. And better quality. Much better.

Scumlean for me.

I wasn't thinking about looking town. I am town whether you like it or not and whether I look town or not. I gave the short version, which is what I expected you to read, which explains my side of the interactions imo. Ranger hard buddying me is a different story altogether but I don't have a problem with it since she'll be dead tonight anyway and anyone who thinks we're partners after that is just

lazy and not actually hunting.

So:

How it makes me look town? Fucked if I'd know since I wasn't trying to look town - I am town and therefore don't need to try and look anything.

I don't believe you. You're using exclamation points at the end of a sentence if you have a splitting headache? No way. Language is an apparatus of meaning and the last thing you'd want with a splitting headache is to think of something that generates the energy with the emphasis of an exclamation mark.
