Not only "the people alive are too many", but I have never played with most of them which IS confusing me. You are a Town Cop. Each night, you can investigate one player to learn if they are Mafia or Not Mafia.

You are a Town Seer. Each night, you can investigate one player to learn if they are Werewolf or Not Werewolf.

Not werewolf could still be scum.

Not mafia could still be scum.

A greencheck means shit, unless we get to a situation where all of one scum faction is dead and the relevant cop is still alive.
