Whew. Okay, I can understand that then.

I've been townlean on Dirty Harry but your reasoning makes sense to me. But it seems pretty easy for scum to jump on something he freely offered. IIRC he said he was going to make sure he posted it before deadline. This game's been so dead It's all foggy in my memory now, sigh.

I liked Rb's adaptation to his view of that sentence but I'm not sure I buy that you did a whole mind games. And I don't like that you rushed to that defence. It feels awkward like a planned excuse. I want Vecna gone this round because this sheep-post is getting to be disruptive and unhelpful and unless he reforms in the next few rounds I see him as a good lynch....but I'm really not liking TNE.

@Nacho - In a theory context because I've already made up my mind would anti-town play like Vecna's be a better lynch in your opinion than a scum-read. I understand it can be rather context dependent based on how disruptive it is and whether it is mixed with real posting but in general.

Of the other 5, one is making sheep noises. One hasn't stfu about meta for 10 pages and doesn't look like they'll ever stop and the other 3 are AWOL. I'm inclined to think that it's incredibly unlikely that BOTH scum, if any scum, are in the active pool right now, and I'd rather start lynching the people in the inactive pool.

I could be completely wrong but unfortunately I don't know how to read people who aren't even playing the game.

Genuinely uncertain and annoyed, not sarcastic. I'm aware that 2/4 active people could be scum right now but I see it as really unlikely they'd BOTH bother playing the game that way when they can just lurk to victory.
