As for how many games of mafia I have played, well tons all on this site.

I had about a year when I was not playing, and part of that time I was not on site due to personal stuffs,

However I do have a couple completed games since I came back if anyone wants to do some meta diving, I would be happy to provide links. If you want scum games though, they are all older mainly from early 2015 and before.

This is my first time playing forum mafia. I've played a few games on epic mafia though, but that's about it. Curious to see how this turns out.

As for lurking, I feel like it's more of a scumy thing to do of those who are new to mafia. Well, or they just might not know how to approach things. I don't think most of the experienced players would lurk on purpose.

E.g. "oh, she's always such an active player, but whenever she's scum, she only posts the bare minimum, and she's doing that here, ergo she must be scum here".

Opinions on it are split, generally.

This game is really, really slow. Like, reallyyyy slow. It's still 12 days to deadline, but we need to start talking and scumhunting before time runs out on us. We need to get a discussion started (and the IC to get in here).
What do we need to do? Start an RQS? :/

I did not say that, it is only ONE game after all, meta works better when you have been in multiple games with someone as both town and scum.

I use a variety of things in my scum hunting. not just meta. especially weak meta because like only ONE game.

Does that mean your vote on me is now serious? or still RVS?

No real opinion on the 2 vote wagons atm (just not enough info), but am keeping an eye on jack & caston after that exchange on pafe 1

ecane basically what foxbird said is correct, however it is only a tool and it does have its limitations, I find it is most useful when you have had multiple games with someone and they have been both scum and town, if they have a couple 3rd party roles too, all the better,

For example, of all the players here, I would feel most confident in meta reading Nacho, but even then I would still look at other factors that are present in THIS game.

I don't like it at all, to be honest. Most ICs I've seen at least copypaste some sort of introduction in their first post, and the RVS vote should be a given, especially considering how slow the game was going. As far as I've seen Nacho also posted in another newbie game, but not here.

Nne of that is inherently indicative of scum, though, aside from maaaybe the lurking. We'll have to see how the situation develops.
