Hmm... still not much to go on, however I can come up with a few comments at least.
I actually think this approach supports his statement that he was only trying to make a point about the dice based voting. He had already posted about it before you dice voted, so there was no need to harp on it again.Mastermind of Sin wrote: Unvote, Vote: Sir Tornado
Interesting that you get on SSF's case for dice voting but don't even mention me. Trying to distance from your scumbuddy early?
He has stated that "Well, it isn't scummy, actually. I voted you to drill it into you that random voting using a dice is bad" where you = SSF in that sentance. So there seems little reason for him to target every dice voter.
You could certainly argue that using a vote like this isn't the wisest move, but he seems consistent about his reasoning and it occurred early enough in the game that I don't see any real harm, or any scummyness.
@Yuan Ti: a serious problem with your plan as I see it is that to my understanding the cop power could land on Mafia as well as Town. So we aren't just going to be able to trust every cop even if there is no counterclaim.
This I think is an overall important point that any of the powers can end up on any player, not just town. So we have to always keep that in mind when analyzing info that may come from the various roles.
AlsoUnvotemy random vote isn't doing much at this point no need for it to be out there.-

I don't have a lot of things to say now, but I'll unvote cause Spider Jerusalem has mentionned some good points and because random voting is over.
unvote
I just have a question about the game. What would happen if the roleblocker blocks the roleblocker Triumvirate?ShowHi!
Win as:
town:0/3
scum:0/0
Not very good heh?-

Distancing does not require you to call one scummy. The fact that you are addressing him and questioning his actions is enough. My point is, my vote after your vote on SSF clearly showed that I had not read your post (because I never read the thread before I do my dice vote, I've even done it upon replacing into a large game before). However, you did not even mention me or address my actions, instead focusing your questioning/comments on SSF.Sir Tornado wrote:
That vote was to make a point, not to necessarily call SSF scummy due to his rolling dice (I did say so when I unvoted).Mastermind of Sin wrote: Interesting that you get on SSF's case for dice voting but don't even mention me. Trying to distance from your scumbuddy early?
I wanted to get it across to SSF that using dice to start the game is not a very good idea. The vote on him was to draw his attention to it, because I have found that people pay more attention to what you are saying if you vote them.
Calling that "distancing" from SSF was a bit strange MoS. Why the heck would I specifically say that what he did was not scummy in my next post if I was trying to distance from him?Permanent V/LA.-

So, by your logic, if I say Person A is town, but still ask him why he's done something, it is distancing? Because, technically, in doing so, I am:MoS wrote:Distancing does not require you to call one scummy. The fact that you are addressing him and questioning his actions is enough. I agree with SirT. Calling that distancing is a stretch. And since I'm addressing you and questioning your actions (or suspicions, but you catch my drift), by your definition, I'm distancing. So I guess that means I'll see you tonight, scumbuddy?I will fuck up your name and gender. Deal with it.
PM me to replace into Infection Mafia, a semi-open Mini Theme.-

There seems to be little point on calling distancing this early in the game. If it continues later then we can address it. If not then we'll leave it.
Also Spider Jerusalem is right about my plan. I forgot the mafia could get it.
I'm going toVote: Mastermind of Sinofficially because his distancing thing seems phoney. More to stir up action though.-

this game is really stalling. I have seen pretty much no evidence against anyone... now that I think of it, usually I do something "out there" just to get some accusations going. That usually ends up bad for me though .
The whole distancing stuff... basically WIFOM at this time. Even if it's not WIFOM, it's definitely not strong evidence.
That's the first time I ever say a massive unvote train. Amusing to say the least, although nothing substantial to say of it.
I think YuanTi's vote is misplaced, but not necessary scummy. Anything that moves this game forward is welcome right now.-

It's not distancing in and of itself, though. But it isSir Tornado wrote:

So, you want me to give the same ICish gameplay advice to everyone in the same game like a broken record player?MoS wrote:

Seriously. At least I don't have to come in making crazy role-claims to get the heat off my back like last time I replaced. Well, I read through, and besides not finding any dumb things my former self said that require explanation (or anything he said, period) the only possible lead I got is MoS getting angry at Tornado for not admonishing him over the use of dice votes
