For a start you wouldn't know its scum and probably go with an opinion like "Why would scum use that ability on day 2 ".In post 448, Shadow_step wrote:Nobody did, it is a probability. In post 447, Vedith wrote:Who said it's a one use?In post 444, Shadow_step wrote:Why would scum use that ability on day 2 itself if they had turret ? Still, why expose the ability if it was a scum ability.
Gives town more info.

Torbjorn and Symmetra have no connections to the bad guys in the flavor. Even if theg can fakeclaim, you cant fakeclaim them now that they actually used the ability. Then I suggest a mass flavor claim.
I'm honestly confused by this progression. I feel like you guys are talking about something in the flavor I'm not familiar with. There are a lot of pronouns flying around, and I don't know what they're referring to.In post 406, DoctorPepper wrote:^I'm sure Mafia have mod given flavor claims in. DocPep, are you suggesting that Torb and Symmetra's alignment might be in question because of their flavor connections (or lack thereof) with Blackwatch and the Omnics? If so, could you explain this to me like I've never heard of these characters before?
I underlined and italicized the pronouns that I'm not sure I'm following.-

OK, that makes more sense. I don't think I agree with your assumption that flavor alignment = game alignment, though. To clarify, this is my first game on this site. I have played on a different site, so I'm not unfamiliar with the rules(although there are differences that I'm having to get used to), but I am unfamiliar with all the players. I know no names. So Engineer is more or less correct in this last quotation. The Engineer wrote:new-ish in a sense that he might not have know DGB

No one seems to be exploring the possibility that the turret was a passive ability. When I read post 400, I assumed that Pepper thought he might have been the one setting up the turrets and that maybe the turret voted for whoever he had voted the previous day. I wasn't thinking too hard about it, so now I realize that's not very likely at all. But regardless of whether or not that's correct, isn't it possible that scum is using the ability not because they choose to, but because they don't have a choice? Either that or they chose to put an extra vote on Pepper. Maybe they can, at night, decide to set up a turret, and choose who it should vote for, then throughout the day, they can change who it's aiming at. Another long-shot, since it's basically a double-vote, but at the same time, if we assume it will only vote for who scum is voting, they could set it on someone else and frame someone. Yes, I know, it's extremely unlikely. But at least worth considering, right? (Of course, this is all assuming that scum does have this ability. I am regarding that as a possibility(more clarification below), but I think it's most likely that the turret is town)
Also, it seems like everyone is just trusting Tracer on hammers not counting. If Wake was scum and converted her to scum, wouldn't she want us all to think that hammers didn't count? That way if we found out that Wake was scum, we would still think she was confirmed. Then again, I'm still not quite convinced that Wake is scum(because of his predecessor's heartbreaking parting post), so I don't know.
The whole point was that she wanted to be hammered by someone she knew was town, and the only person she had that confirmation on was herself. Even if you were town, we couldn't have that confirmed(except by killing you, but I'm sure you don't want that. Unless you're Jester).Wake88 wrote:>>> Tracer wanted to be hammered.

Actually, now that you mention it, it's quite possible that there is no correlation between flavor and alignment. In which case, Wake's predecessor could have been telling the truth about being Tracer, and also been scum. It doesn't completely eliminate the clear townie-ness of that post, but it does diminish it.podoboq wrote:

But boys, I really really really really REALLY think Wake is town here.
Look at his faulty logics more closely. Do you know what causes the fault in his logic?
"Wake88 is town."
The fact that he's using that as a piece as his logic bridge and not being aware that it is only confirmed for him and not for everyone else makes him incredibly town. Common logical townslip.
(And yes, Wake constantly mentioning that he is town does not matter in this case. It's about his logic progresses, not about whether he is aware of him saying that he is town.)-

In my experience with Wake, he's good enough to NOT make that logical fallacy as town.In post 456, Tracer wrote:The fact that he's using that as a piece as his logic bridge and not being aware that it is only confirmed for him and not for everyone else makes him incredibly town.

Just to make it more interesting, from my townlist, Shadow_Step is my weakest townread because literally the only thing I got on him is his hated claim.
And yes, two of my D1 townreads, which I said few hours ago that it still stands, are now in my non-townreads.
Exciting! (It's more of my townreads on them getting stale. I think randomidget is more town than Genji.)-

I apologize for my lack of activity the last few days. Been out of it with various in real life stuff. I won't bring that into the game.
Will get to some stuff.
Right now, I don't consider a lynch on Wake or Tracer a good idea. When I posted yesterday I thought Wakes reaction under scrutiny was rather relaxed townie. While I expected a scum to overexplain their actions, he simply went about it in a way that was he didn't need to explain it, which while definitely not the most pro town movie, it was townie.
I want to pressure inte slot more right now.-
