What in the world do you think I was saying in this:In post 472, beegirl wrote:
No matter what you tell me I won't be able to get over how terrible 297 was.In post 385, pieguyn wrote: my major issue is, I *really* don't think Skybird's read is as horrible as a lot of people are claiming it is.the major point she was making was that kraska's posts along the lines of e.g. 149 read like she was trying to use her posting a lot as a reason to throw doubt on mollie's read on her.I think it's not a compelling point, yes, but it isn't "horrible" in terms of her thought process. I can easily read this post and see someone thinking that the mention of her activity was off and out of nowhere and hoping to attribute a reason to it, since it kind of is, and "I've posted a lot" is, in fact, an excuse scum like to pull up in order to cast doubt on reads on them.
do I think it's what kraska was doing in that post? not really. but I don't think it's unreasonable at all for someone to interpret it that way and I don't know why so many people think it's so horrible.
Nothing Skybird has posted so far would suggest she thinks the bolded part of your post.
Notice Kraska mentioned Mollie. How can you not see the intent of this post? Or is it just more convenient for you to forget it?In post 296, Skybird wrote:
Yes, your post struck me as "I've posted a lot so I'm obviously town" which feels like something scum would say. As to my playstyle, I'm pretty much WYSIWYG. I'm not good enough to have different styles for town and scum.-

Do you have reads on Luna or Foxbird yet?In post 499, Skybird wrote:I'm leery of claims of ascetic because people are going to naturally leave Yume alone for the first couple of nights. If I were scum, I would make a claim like that. This is a role-madness game so I do think Yume is telling the truth. that's a part of it, but really, the more I hear people explain their scum reads on Skybird, the more thoroughly unconvinced I am by any of it.In post 476, beegirl wrote:Although I guess we still have 0 progression because the idea was you wanted me to vote Kraska lol.
*if* we were to pick someone outside of {kraska, Skybird}, who would you want to vote? do you have a read on Aris?-

I would probably vote Aris, I was leaning town on him but then he decided that falling of the grid while posting elsewhere onsite was a good idea. It isn't even like this game is dead either.
Although I am waiting on the Kraska replacement now before I decide who I want to vote :/ah yes, beegirl style reads;

Foxbird has been pretty quiet so far. I don't know if she's been busy or lurking. In post 504, TellTaleHeart wrote:

Luna starts off pretty towny. She's asking questions and giving reads. My read on her gets muddled during the posts in the 400's though. She and Pie have a disagreement on a read and Luna wants Pie to admit she could be wrong. (post 400) This post bothers me but I'm having trouble explaining just why it does. A lot of the players in the game have expressed scum/town reads in absolute terms. Why does Luna need Pie to admit she could be wrong when she doesn't ask any of the other players if they could be wrong and want them to admit it? Then the thread got contentious and I don't know what to think of that all just yet. Overall I have no interest in lynching Luna today based on the way she started.-

If you're paranoid of Yume's ascetic claim, what did you think of Luna and Foxbird's "confirmable" softs? In post 509, Skybird wrote:

I get that there's ambiguity to the ascetic claim, but as an initial impression I still feel like town are probably more motivated to be up front with it whereas a scum ascetic would be more inclined to just let actions fail on them. Luna and Foxbird saying their role is "confirmable" on the heels of the beeboy "confirmable" fullclaim feels a lot more like someone's trying to sneak something over for town cred, so I'm wondering why that's not on your radar at all.-

My apologies on dropping off in activity. I'm at Pg 13 catching up. The site kept crashing in my bit of spare time earlier today and I didn't get a chance to read any further.
Should have something by the end of the weekend.Half meme, Half real, All Aristophanes ;)- JingleAri has appeared way too competent for me to even pretend to know what they're thinking

"Actually"? I "actually" may or may not be satisfied pending further Skybird responses.
And I'm "actually" pretty annoyed at the nonspecific shade being thrown at me.-

Working on my catchup. Pie TTH beegirl are town. Did yume get a town read on her slot and then disappear? I'm really hoping mollie starts posting more (I'm only about halfish way through).
Back to reading!-

Mollieeee where are you? This isn't what I'm used to from you, and this has me nervous. Luna is a gut town read tbh. I want to see more from skybird before lynching that slot. I dislike Yume's disappearance. (Actually I should check time stamps) kraska felt super genuine and just.. Idk. I can't really get behind that lynch right now. I keep forgetting LLD is in the game, same with mala and foxbird.
Somebody talk to me!-

Yeah, yume last posted over 2 days ago. I don't like that slot right now.
It really feels like she just got her town read and plans on coasting on it.-

I don't have completed games with either of them, but as far as I'm aware, Yume is pretty known for lurking. I feel like she would have disappeared whether she got townread or not, so that's probably NAI. So I guess the read is null. I'm inclined to believe the ascetic claim, but I feel like that line of discussion has been thrown out enough for now.
Mollie seems townish and like she's figuring out the game in her ISO. Do you know if it's common for her to just toss out naked votes like that? I usually like seeing at least an outlined case.
