In post 1746, MathBlade wrote:Here is the jist Cephrir. I am the fucking town vig. I tried to shoot Varsoon last night and somehow New Earth died. There is nothing in there that suggests redirection. I am trying to get people to talk dammit. But no one fucking is. So I am stuck trying to figure out this game on my own because no one is talking.

I agreed when I said shooting new earth was stupid because he wasn't supposed to die. I asked specifically about the kills and said new earth was stupid to try to get discussions going. I can tell you though if SirCakez is scum it is safe to act and I will keep doing so barring any hiccups.

The wondering how I am alive was trying to get some discussion towards two kills.

Now I am stuck desperately alone. With me being the vig we in essence have two lynches. So yeah you may think I am being ridiculous for wanting a goddamn conversation but I just want to fucking play.
That's not why I said you were being ridiculous

You probably should have waited until tomorrow to claim this

also, i'd like to suggest that you only kill once more (to ensure we stay on odds)

varsoon, you don't happen to know why you're not dead, do you?

No not giving the rest of my role. Especially because unless someone else claims vig and CC's me I am townfirm.

Don't want to say if I am multiple shot or not because it leaves open the possibility of me being NK'd or RB'd and lets others do actions. If I am multiple shot then we can use any additional shots like a second lynch if they exist. There is also a redirector of some kind in the game so I want to be as open as possible but I don't want people being fucking stupid and I want people to play.

I have to go I have Shadowrun all day. Hope to be back late tonight.

Uh if you're sure that there's a scum redirector wouldn't it make more logical sense to stop shooting?

No, I knew that he would almost certainly use any action against me if he had one to take, so I took measures to keep him from fucking this game over and killing/hindering/shitting on town.

Quick question:
Does anyone trust Mathblade's judgment?

I don't, so I'm going to vanilla-ize him or some shit and make his role useless until he's lynched or killed.
kthx.

My B.
I was reared in a cisnormative household and community, so I tend to defer to 'he' as a gender-neutral pronoun when I am not taking consideration of gender into an issue.
It's similar to how people used 'dude' at the turn of the century.
Seeing as, in this game space, we are defined more stridently by our content, I'm going to engage with that first and foremost rather than anyone's construction of identity ancillary to the game at hand.

I don't mean to offend, though, and I'll try to get it right if I'm thinking about it, but I usually don't think about it, which speaks more towards the arbitrary nature of the gender/identity for me within this game space.

I don't want to leash 'em. I want them dead. They're anti-town. They admitted to trying to kill me, and I'm town. So, y'know, there's that.

Think about this realistically:
Do you agree with Mathblade's reads?
If no, then why not? Mathblade has claimed a killing role with the intent to kill townread players.
If yes, then yeah, fine, having a vig around is fine.

But I'll tell you this much,
had I not acted, we'd have three dead town on our hands right now instead of just two.
Essentially, because I had better judgment than Mathblade, we have more town in the game right now.

1) IMHO that is not accurate because for your scenario to be plausible as presented one of the following must be true:
a) Scum have two kills
b) Town has another vig who hasn't said anything and attempted a kill last night. And that kill would have had to have not been targeted at me whom everyone has scumread.

So no. The answer is I was redirected and whatever you did or can do or whatever did not save a townie life.

Varsoon everyone scumread me and SirCakez together and that I know is wrong. Furthermore a vig kill is not something used like another lynch usually. It is used for shooting someone who you absolutely believe is scum but can't convince others of.

For the record I agree to a leash until everyone sees I am a townfirm but I don't know what good it will do since I was likely redirected anyway.

Sure :) It is just til I am townfirm anyway. When I am townfirm a leash isn't required.
