Yeah, there's always one deck that's "if you max out your curve, you should have a good shot of winning nearly any matchup," and right now that's definitely Beast Druid.
(EDIT: And with Innervate being a thing, that is particularly devastating when Druids can do so.)-

the heroic challenges in this xpac have been really easy compared to the previous expansions, honestly. chess was probably the hardest. the others i all did in no more than 2 triesIn post 3846, Sudo_Nym wrote:So I decide to go back and try the heroics for this adventure. Take an hour to beat Chess and Big Bad Wolf, beat everything else in 5 minutes. Is it always like that, or am I just really bad at Hearthstone Chess?
also yeah, i knew all the QQing over priest was just a circlejerk. priest is actually pretty great right now.green shirt thursdays-

I'm still not convinced that protest will be top tier when the meta settles, but at least it's a real class now.One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. Here is the Beast Druid list I've been using:
The logics:
Raven, Druid of the Saber, Druid of the Flame, and Mounted Raptor are your early game minions to help control the board. They are all good early Mark of Y'Shaarj targets, and they are all strong, efficient bodies (or in Mounted Raptor's case, a minion that leaves something behind).
Mark of Y'Shaarj is duh. A turn 1 1 or 2 drop (with coin) into a turn 2 Mark is very hard to stop. At later stages of the game, it provides a meaningful buff for cheap with a cantrip attached, since everything except Menagerie Warden is a beast. Oh yeah, and bigger things are good for the Warden, and using Mark on a stealthed minion right after dropping it is also very strong.
Wrath and Swipe are Druid's best options for controlling the board early/mid game. Swipe also gives you a bit of reach to help close out games (although this is a fairly rare use of Swipe in my experience)
Living Roots is a strong, versatile card. The tokens are good to set up a big Savage Roar turn, and the 2 damage can help control the board early in matchups where keeping the tokens around isn't super viable (Mage, Rogue, Druid)
Innervate is just a stupidly good card for the tempo it provides.
Druid of the Claw and STV Tiger are your "big" midgame minions. One of them turn 5 into a turn 6 Menagerie Warden is a huge turn 6 (and STV Tiger has stealth to make it much harder to stop).
Power of the Wild is a nice card b/c it can provide you with a good enough body early on, but it's REALLY good at helping you maintain control of the board/push extra damage with the +1/+1 effect. You'll often find yourself with 3-4 minions on the board, where giving them that +1/+1 puts them out of range of something meaningful (ping, explosive trap, etc), and it's sometimes worth using it with only 2 minions on board to help those minions trade better.
Savage Roar is your finisher. It's also super powerful here because STV Tiger has stealth, Druid of the Claw can have charge, and Druid of the Saber can have either. It can make it very hard to stop a Savage Roar finish without needing taunts, since you can throw to damage out sort of from nowhere (especially with the help of Innervate)
Nourish is there to refill your hand. The deck can have such massive swing turns with Menagerie Warden, Innervate, and Power of the Wild that losing a turn to draw 3 is often not that huge of a deal, and a lot of the time you're taking negative card-advantage early for tempo (Innervate and Power of the Wild are the main offenders here), so Nourish can help compensate for that in the midgame in faster matchups.-

I don't own Fandral, but he's probably worth testing out given that you have a decent number of cards with choose one effects (Saber, Flame, Claw, Power, Roots, Wrath is more than 1/3 of the deck). That said, I'm not entirely sure what you would cut to include him. My instinct would be Living Roots, just given how often the card's impact is just sort of ~fine~ instead of stellar (unlike Nourish, which is really important to keeping yourself going).-

My list has varied, but it's pretty close. I've toyed with Fandral, as well as with Curator/Azure/Finley.
-1 Savage Roar, +1 Fandral is what I would suggest. I've rarely (if ever?) wanted two Savage Roars, and often times don't even need the first.-

Guy just took me down with the most nuts shaman draw. Trogg coin trogg pass. Bolt guy face for 4 pass, totem golem face for 6. I take out troggs. Walrus pops out attack power totem. I get the totems of the board. Doomhammer. He pulled out the 7/7 after that. Just not enough answers to stabilize against every broken card in the deck back to back.Sometimes a sandwich is just a sandwich.-

And that's why I'm saying Aggro Shaman is still going to be the top deck after release. There's plenty of decks that can do unfair things, but no deck has a good matchup against the Shaman nut draw. One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.-

BRM is the only set that'll be rotating, I think, and the only Shaman cards from that set are Fireguard Destroyer and Lava Shock, which I don't think is going to give Shamans much trouble. One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. I forget how the rotation works, and whether TGT and BRM rotate simultaneously or separately. But Aggro Shaman is going to be really hurt when TGT goes and takes Tuskarr Totemic and Totem Golem with it.One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies.
