Yes, golden

Ryan townslipped, and his erratic behavior is NAI. If anything it's a towntell because that sort of thing is hard to fake and it's not opportunistic what he's been doing. If you read his other game his opinions are inconsistent and jumpy in a somilar way. Ryan's arguments are not reachy to him, all that matters is that he believes what he's saying.

Whoever is scum is doing a decent enough job at this point. I'm going to start from scratch and re-read this game.

Just finished page 10. Thoughts:

- Ryan vs. Gameplay is still hard to read. Gut tells me one of them is scum
- Martha looks okay on re-read
- Cass looks scummy
- Pitoli is town
- Naomi/Expedience is downgraded to townlean
- Dierfire doesn't look as scummy as they did initially, I think I overreacted. Need to look into their wagon.
- Gameplay's not producing much content. It's just tunnel tunnel tunnel and ignoring most other stuff going on

If I had to dayvig someone based on first 10 pages, it'd be Gameplay

This is the relevant piece, I think:
In post 485, Dierfire wrote:I think that RyanK is a relatively new player focusing on the game at a basic level, and I feel that if he had drawn Mafia he'd be looking for more motivation-related tells (OMGUS,
"defensiveness"
). To my recollection, it is rare for a new Mafia player to point out this pattern of "tells" and then act on them (a slightly more common pattern would be to pose them as questions and wait to see how they are received).
The high number of rapid switches in votes recently do look a bit more like the "see how they are received" thing that I mentioned, but overall my thought was that RyanK was pursuing angles that are uncommon for Newbie Mafia players to pursue (one mentioned example, expressing suspicion of Naomi-Tan in for mentioning Daytalk, works well as an illustration of what I mean--I would expect a Mafia player to actually check how Naomi-Tan knew this information before making the vote).

(As an aside, I see that more recently RyanK is coming in with an accusation of "defensiveness" against rb, which...well, I'll refer to the underlined section in my post quoted above and note that this moves my read back a bit)

@RyanK

It seems as though you are focusing on individual posts every time you cast a vote. Your vote is on rb now. Could you provide me with a more comprehensive picture of your read on rb? Taking all posts into consideration, do you think that rb is Town or Mafia?

I'm surprised to hear you not have an objection to a player not reading your posts! What is your read on gameplay506 currently? (I guess that actually "currently" means "when you finish reading" as long as you come back to this)

Unlikely scumpartners:

Gameplay/Ryan
Martha/Gameplay
Cass/Dierfire
Martha/Dierfire
Cass/Martha

Also Cass gets a townread for her work on pages 11-13. I disagree btw Cass, I don't think Gameplay is scumhunting at all. He scumread Ryan at like post 50 apparently and has contributed nothing since. I think his wagon was town - in fact I'm reading everyone that was on that wagon as more town as I re-read.

I actually think Gameplay is scum. When a lot of town players feel "off" about a slot, I think it's a good scumtell. Also a lot of people on the Gameplay wagon make unlikely scumpartners, I think Gameplay is scum and the wagon is good.

Will keep re-reading but from pages 1-14 Gameplay is scum for me.

VOTE: Gameplay

In wayb4 "butthurt AtE Village Idiot 12-year old ego" defense

Pages 15-20

- I hate Chuck and Glitch on re-read.
- Glitch's interaction with Chuck is fake af. He can't get a good read but he votes Naomi with him anyway. This is like Dierfire but 10x worse - at least Dierfire aligned vote with me thinking I was town. Glitch votes with Chuck while having no idea?

We can lynch Glitch/Gameplay today. Chuck may not be scum necessarily, it may just be Glitch forcing that interaction. I think Glitch is scum.

I'm on the road again tomorrow, so I'll be posting sparsely in the next 24 hours or so. It might also be helpful to cut the posting rate in general for a bit so that a few of our less active players can catch up more easily. Currently I don't feel that I have many questions to ask; rather, the most helpful thing for me to read most players would be to get updated opinions.

EDIT:

@RyanK

That's not a comprehensive picture of your read on rb! Which posts

indicative of alignment, and how do you interpret them?

Mafia will NK me tonight. I'm basically the universal townread from pages 1-20. Apart from Ryan everyone in the game either has me on townlean or townread. Probably because I explained to Ryan why I play the way I play.

I think Naomi/Expedience are town and I find it suspicious af that anyone could have them as their TOP scumread - if you're wary or something then yeah, okay. But thinking they're the MOST scum and worthy of lynch today? Yeah, no chance.

I mislynched a newb player exactly like Ryan in my last game, they turned out to be town. I think Ryan is town because he's digging through stuff and finding what he thinks are mistakes by people - he just isn't seeing the broader context. I think he's town.

He seems to be unable to say anything about his defensiveness in his post 656. It does look like he's very concerned that that line of thought would be pursued by Martha.
