That is, assuming I have the option to pulse first due to being faster. Is that, and End of Beat things, based on Active/Reactive player or priority, for the sake of Dual Wield? It doesn't matter this time, and probably won't ever, but it would be nice to know if it ever came up.
(Also, should I be doing the research for these questions myself? I don't think it's too hard, I'm just really lazy.)
Never be sorry for your little time.
It's not when you get there, it's always the climb.
Reactive Player is determined at reveal after all clashes. Although your priority can change (and would matter if you were playing against Demitras, for example,) I think that the choice for pulse and the first to ante the next beat is based on active player which would not change. In this case, both of your attack pairs would beat me anyhow.
Also, have you played someone who prevents opponents from moving past them? Apparently I use a lot of them, but I haven't used anyone who forces long range attacks to miss.
EDIT: Almost forgot about Burst. You have priority. If you don't Burst, I'm not going to want to. If you do I'll have to think about it.

I can't recall any characters that I've played that stop someone from moving past. Maybe Eligor or Alexian (but Alexian wasn't against you.) Your choices do seem to have that ability somewhere fairly often.
I'm actually in a lot worse of a position than I thought I was. I don't think I can avoid getting hit this beat, assuming you ante Stun Guard. If Cutthroat Knuckle would have worked, I'm going to be angry with myself.

Another good beat for you! I'll advance 1, hit for 3 (-1 each for the style and the soak, +1 each for the power and the zone.) You aren't stunned due to enough stun guard and the warded style. You hit for 4 and regain 2 life. I'll then advance Juto 1 at the end of beat.
