Oman lynch is by far better than a Quaglynch, and they both should fully claim anyway because there's a deadline on hand and the information just might help us make a more educated decision.clockwork wrote:
How do you reconcile this with the "happy lynch list" you posted in #429? Or is it just a shameless pressure vote? You (ineffectually) directed Quagmie to do the same thing in #408 and he didn't end up claiming (well, soft-claiming) until #451. I doubt Oman's going to be anymore easily influenced -- and I think you know that.Glork wrote:unvote, Vote: Oman

So, Oman, you really don't think Quagmire's scum? Assuming he's not, do you think he's a better asset to the town than you are?
Surely you realize you could save yourself by voting for Quagmire. So even given that you believe he's town and you know you're town, you must think he'll be more useful to us in the coming days than you will be, no? If not, why not throw him under the bus? Humor me.-

I'm merely a townsperson, so if I do get lynched, I won't have that much of an effect on the overall game.Glork wrote:

I still want Oman lynched to satisfy my hunger to have caught a scumbag.-

DEADLINE
As dusk falls, the town decides to lynch Oman. They search him, and find a badge; prehaps the method of lynch first, ask questions later isn't as effective as expected.
Oman, pro-town cop has been lynched Day 2.
It is now Night 2, with 9 left alive. Please send in all night-actions.
Player List: ooba, clockwork, ChannelDelibird, WaterboyWaldo, October Raven, Glrok, Gorrad, Peers, Quagmire.
Deadline: 72 hours from this post-

Vote: CDB
Reasoning: We suspect we have two scum and an SK left. CDB hasn't posted anything of substance for over a month and may have flaked on this game; last night, either the doc stopped one death before he was killed, or he didn't stop a death... because the SK wasn't paying attention to the game anymore and never sent in a kill. Which would mean CDB is the most likely SK, as he was just active enough during the first day and night to not be lurking, but enough to stay under the radar, but then dropped out of sight.
It's just a guess, but it's the strongest idea I've gotten so far. I'm going to look at voting patterns when I get time, maybe I'll find something better than this.-

Well crap. That's three power roles down in two days. I'm not sure if CDB is SK, Vig, or town, but what Peers said scares me. If we're LILO and lynch Vig, we're dead, and if we lynch the SK, that's still not as good as lynching a mafia member since he has a chance of hitting scum.
I'd also like to throw out the third option, in addition to a Doc protect and no-NK, that the SK or Vig just targetted Glork as well. In which case it could very well not be CDB. All in all, though, I think CDB has a NK ability.
Third and lastly, I'm not going to vote for CDB due to the dangers of a mislynch, so I will keep myVote: QuagmireI will not assume everyone with blue eyes has Mako poisoning
I will not assume everyone with blue eyes has Mako poisoning

.... that was a slip, yes? Did you just say the cop had a guilty result on you?Quagmire wrote:*why* oman didn't claim is beyond me. Otherwise, I was just pissed off. I was so confident that he was scum. My guess is that he didn't save himself because he had a guilty result on me. So why didn't he claim so?

I didn't know that he voted for me. I don't know why he wouldn't save himself -- especially if he's a cop -- at the expense of a simple townie like me.clockwork wrote:Re: Lynch results & N2 events: Wow.
I take it you meant to say aQuagmire wrote:My guess is that he didn't save himself because he had a guilty result on me.-guilty result. But if that were the case, why would he have voted for you multiple times on day 2 (e.g. #407, #395)?not-

But the time limit for sending in N2 actions was 72 hours; the mod came back with results in ~22 hours. If therePeers wrote:or he didn't stop a death... because the SK wasn't paying attention to the game anymore and never sent in a kill.isan SK, he must have responded or else D3 wouldn't have started until Nov. 17th.
Mod:ChannelDelibird hasn't been replaced despite having been inactive here since Oct. 27th. Does that mean he's been picking up prods?-

Well... Me, Quagmire, Glork, and Peers voted for Oman. Glork is dead.
Now the question is, "Why Glork"?
429, Glork says he wants either Clockwork, WaterboyWaldo, or Peers lynched.
It's my opinion that he either he was right on one or two of these three, or that he was chosen to make us think that. It's WIFOM, but I'm calling on the latter.
Therefore,FoS: Quagmire. Not going to allow a quicklynch by scum by voting this soon in case I'm wrong.I'm a guy
