The (non-Mafia) game designer in me says that I'm not going to dictate how you should enjoy this thread, but you'll get weird looks (from me especially) if you pick something that doesn't describe you.
Now, if you want to try some radically new playstyle after being inspired by this thread, go for it (>")> and let everyone know how it goes!
spoiler: people will give you weird looks and try to lynch you, and then you'll have to point to this thread, and they won't believe you
also, if you do that you automatically get pushed toward Whimsy

oh come now half the player list was Evil in some variety
Also, Asceticism exists; it was renamed to Patience because that fit better.

You can just say I stole the idea from you because you were taking so goshdarn long making POWERFUL WIZARDS.
Hoopla wrote:I probably used to be the impersonal Rigor type player
I could have deleted the four lines I typed describing Rigor and just said "think Hoopla". You, me, Fate, Tierce, and CES were definitely people I had in mind when typing these up.
Faraday wrote:I think I post too much when I play to be concision really.
Concision is for people who post in two- or three-line bursts. Think CES; he'll bat snark back and forth with you all day long but if any of his posts ever stretched the minimum post space I'd be shocked.

The mechanic was p.broken. Both times I ran this mechanic I remember everyone powering up two Domains and ignoring the rest. Like I don't know how to make the game fun for everyone by making sure everyone gets power so they could potentially do something.
I think these apply to me the most to least:
Most applies to me --
Rigor
Will
Verbosity
Mercy
Patience
Syncretism
Least applies to me --
Yeah, I like this way of thinking. I'm at
--Most--
Whimsy
Will
Syncretism
Mercy
Patience
Concision
--Least--
...which seems like the least practical combination you can find, but ~whee~
