qubixes, creature linked you to 2 of his games, did you see them? what do you think of that?

I actually read one of those, but I didn't get far enough to the PoE... Anyway, the big problem I had was not really the PoE itself, but more that it seemed like he was using it as a smoke screen, so that he doesn't need to take real stances on other people (other than apparently calling others town for *reasons*). I now read the two linked games more carefully (only early game), and I think in one of the games he takes more significant stances, while the other not so much.

I was townreading him mainly for 101. It just seemed a bit too bizarre and awkward to come from scum. If I assume for a second this is nervous scum going "oh shit I'm getting caught", I think 166 is a bit too contrasting with that idea.

My reads are still pretty much the same so far. Would still like too see a couple of questions get answered.

The votes on Not_Mafia seem to be heavily meta based. Will look at a few of his games, but I imagine playing in a game with him and just looking at it is probably pretty different.

Generally, I feel like lurking is more of a scummy tell for those that are new to mafia.

He can't really "contradict" empty questions and dithering, so I'll agree with you on that point, though don't think he's remotely said anything near enough to claim lack of contradictions to a town level.

If I thought I could enforce it I'd insist on only single votes, but as stands I think getting people to not derp vote 3+ people and lazy sit on a tertiary wagon that goes through is about all I feel like I can swing.

Also, what's your beef with Qubixes? I would call that the most townish slot in the game pretty much, so...?

I've never used vca enough to argue it's utility or how the mechanics of this game will alter it. My concern was whether or not you wanted to stick to two votes because three votes guarantees at least on to be on town.

I see what you're saying in reference to the "empty questions". However, I see him not stepping on toes out of being newbie town that doesn't know how to. His questions look like attempts to "fill in the gaps" to a lot of what we take for granted with what needs to be said in a game. This resonates about how I felt as newb town around the time you IC'd me.
