Okay, the first two reasons I can buy. The third one doesn't make sense. If Sotty7 is scum, then we've got a scum flip, we are one step closer to a win and you can push GM then. If she's town, then my bussing theory would no longer apply.In post 1899, Raskolnikov wrote:But I scumread GM more, sotty is a tracker claim, and also GM finally flipping should vindicate me and get people to stop annoying me, whereas even if sotty flips scum your top theory is literally that I'm scum bussing her.
By the way, it wasn't my intention to demotivate you. I tend to make prolonged pushes and not let go when I lock onto someone. If you want to talk about why your GM-case hit alarm bells for me and why I was scumreading you for it rather than GM, I can explain my internal thinking more. I touched on it a bit in my reads list though.
Right now, GM has been sliding down my town-scale a lot so I'm considering that you might have a point there. I still think a Sotty7 flip is pivotal to solidifying my reads. There were three wagons D1. We know GreyICE was town and Victor very likely is too. Sotty7 is the unknown. We know she pushed very hard for the BBT/GreyICE lynch. We know BBT hard-scumread her before replacing out. We know TwoFace wanted her flip really, really badly and winded up dead N1. We know that she investigated her other threat. Hoopla's right that in her place, scum would almost certainly claim PR. All of this tells me Sotty7's flip is integral to figuring out the game and is a very, very likely scumflip. That's where I'm at and that's why I'd really rather not let go of Sotty7.-

Why are there so many people against the of lynching a PR claim just because it's a PR claim? How exactly do you plan to lynch scum if you're afraid of lynching a PR? That's what scum will almost always claim in situations like these.
Besides, it's highly unlikely a Tracker is going to generate any useful info now if she is indeed truthful.-

Yeah, there will be one or two other PR's with the masons. But we sort of self-select ourselves into just lynching a VT if we assume scum always claims PR in that spot and we're unwilling to lynch a PR claim. Don't you find it convincing that there are (probably) 3/13 slots she could roll scum and always claim something like this vs. 1-2/13 slots she could roll the remaining town PR(s) and claim this?In post 1910, Raskolnikov wrote:Basically for setup spec reasons. If sotty is scum there probably is another pr in that place as masons aren't enough, and they'd likely CC then later.-

The difference is Masons are a provable role by linking them with a partner (which we should be doing tomorrow), and can be assessed very accurately from a setup spec perspective. A Tracker claim is never really provable, could be scum aligned or a Mafia Role Cop and is just much harder to evaluate from setup spec as it's a weak-ish investigation role that's existence could go either way if the setup is something like Mason/Mason/Doc or Mason/Mason/Doc/Tracker.In post 1912, goodmorning wrote:@Hoopla: So when I said "let's lynch Victor, he's Scum" and he said "I'm a Mason," and everyone said, "oh, we shouldn't lynch him then," everyone was wrong?

Just to be clear it's actually completely garbage and you couldn't ignore the elephant in the room anymore if you tried. Apparently because "I don't try to read wagons in progress. Or at all." is a real thing.
Ordinarily I'd at least get a not-partner tell here from the switch to vanity instead of cw-ing, but she voted me just earlier when I was starting to look promising, in 180 to her earlier "just looks really town" read (apparently solely because I suggested lynching maria).-

@hoopla: i'm not saying it's very provable
i'm saying it's dumb to lynch her today
potential gains greatly outweigh potential losses
what.
i already said the wagon was bad when it originally formed, so much so that it scared me off of it which almost never happensIn post 1918, Raskolnikov wrote:I like the GM turn from me to IAI vanity and barely saying anything about sotty despite it being literally the biggest point of interest.
currently i'm arguing against lynching pr claims day of claim, idk who else you think that means
what more do you actually want me to say???? if you're town this is just a stupid amount of confbias.
