I don't buy it, scum players can get excited about catching people slipping as well. It isn't even necessarily faked he could legit be unhappy about something like that as scum.In post 188, Luna Fox wrote:I feel like townreading this.
No way a newbie scum player gets this excited about "catching a slip"

What stops scum from getting excited about seeing a town mess up and eat rope for free?In post 199, Luna Fox wrote:Your join date is still recent enough for being able to fake that certain type of excitement and fake excitement about catching a scum slip.
It is possible, but highly unlikely.
So yeah.
P-Edit @Gamma
I am not even stretching here what I am saying is incredibly reasonable, I sure would be happy if I thought I caught someone "scum slip" as scum.
Pedit: he thought he saw someone scum slip why wouldn't he think a mislynch is achievable.ah yes, beeboy style reads;

Pie, on a scale of 0 to 10, how sure are you that there's actually no IC in this game and you got a bum role?
where do you intend to go with this?
Trying to gauge what the setup is like based off of what's been claimed and what I know to be true.
Chances are, everything in this game is just some nonsense intended to rub Pie the wrong way.
Knowing that helps me sort out some things and will be very helpful in mid/late game when roles are more important to the outcome of things.-

If you all are curious I've completed probably 15 games over the course of a year+ or so ? handful of bastard games in there, a roulette, a lovers, an all mafia, and have hosted a large theme as well...
we play deep games, elaborate and unusual setups, with a lot of veteran/smart players who have been playing for ages
also played a bit in meat-world (regular werewolf with a seer only and then 1NightWerewolf a bunch too)
woah don't disservice good players just because they're newIn post 203, Luna Fox wrote:That's not the way a newbie player's mindset works ^^;;
I have seen a new player roll scum and DESTROY town because they observered 2 games and knew what the fuck they were doing through and through - it's possibly a site culture thing though, less likely to happen here that often-

/shrug it is almost as if I said him being upset like that as scum doesn't even need to be faked as losing out on a mislynch is bad for scum and he isn't a newbie either as he has 5000 on site posts.In post 209, Luna Fox wrote:Well literally anything is fakable if you think of it that way.
You're just gonna end up mislynching people a lot more often if you keep thinking that way.
I don't even think you are thinking about what I am saying.

A good player that happened to manage to do that deserves the win, since they managed to fool everyone else.
I go by what's the norm behaviour i see from town and scum and try to incorporate a player's supposed experience into the mix + experiencial meta that i have with them if any.
In this way i can make better calls to find town and then just remove who's leftover.~Gotta stay happy, Everyone's your friend~-

I see very good noob players on my HS often, put a couple games in them and they are fighting with the 'big boys' head on no problem. It's not like we get new players that often, but in the past 6 months we've actually had several new players and all of them have done well. A couple of them have come in crazyyy exceptional players. One should be making his way around here sooner or later...I'm excited...In post 214, Luna Fox wrote:

I saw 62, but that was about it.
And the Cakez townread is more of trusting bee's read.
I think that's about it.
Maybe if i posted my townreads in the usual pretty fashion would've looked less like rollon text.
she names 8/12 of the not-her players as possible scum, which looks really odd for this type of post.
It was basically "why are you posting with this phraseology when the content doesn't fit?" but your explanation of your playstyle made it clear<Embrace The Void>
