The problem with lyncher-on-town is that the game could still end N1, even though the lyncher wouldn't be playing optimally for that to happen.

We could have compelled town-lyncher-Leon to vig all the same if we had already killed two scum, and even a reasonable player may have felt their odds of success were maximized by making the kill and hoping it wasn't scum.

You can argue it's the same for him being a lyncher on a town flavor but at least in that case he has the chance to win before we lynch Xykon, it makes more sense

Lyncher fake-claim must have existed anyway, then.

I don't think he'd have claimed knowledge that Xykon existed if he wasn't sure of it, there was no guarantee mafia is team evil.

I do agree that lyncher fakeclaim is hard to swallow on an SK.

Obviously, he could have gotten creative, but that seems pretty silly in this case.

my assumption is he didnt realize how pro-town a lyncher on scum claim is and he thought he had to make it more town

I mean, it doesn't make sense that he's actually a pro-town lyncher and has a fakeclaim

i came to today ready to lynch wisdom or cakes
especially after i came around on the leon claim being true
but the more wisdom talked today the less inclined i felt to vote him and i feel good about his slot
the three vig thing is always at the back of my mind whenevr i check this thread but i really dont see wisdom being scum even if leon turns out to be a protown lyncher
