Partially cause he voted for me, and partially because i dont think there would be 2 inexperienced scums on their first game (thered be 1 experienced person there to guide the other newbie).
Jin. I am attempting to figure out your motivation in avoiding RVS. I did a quick dive into your ego search and saw that you don't always start your games this way, and that you have engaged in RVS before.
Why are you being so obstinate about RVS now? You seem like you've been around long enough to know that nonparticipation is frowned upon, and why that would be true.

I figured i would try out RSPS (Random Shit Posting Stage). I am shitpostng to mess with you. Plus i am semi-vla until the 17th visiting my daughter and i dont want to place a RVS vote and get busy with spending time with her, not be able to get back to unvote and have my vote lurkparked, then a quicklynch is run up on who i vote, and be on a townflip that was an RVS vote for me.
I guess I considered the IC the most experienced plus it was a 1 in 3 chance to be right (if my theory was correct).
As for voting for you cause you voted for me I figured why not? From looking at other game threads people seem to just vote for randoms on day 1 so i thought itd be appropriate to do the same.
Do you think it is scummy at all that Jin has refused to participate in RVS. Do you know why someone might want to avoid participation in today's first phase?

Hi, what do you think of the game so far?
I like it but I'm not sure who to vote and why and I'm worried I'm going to talk during day or night or screw something up.
I also don't know if I'm posting enough since I'm only checking this like once a day.
RVS is all about goofing off and trying to start a conversation about something that someone finds scummy. This is how we generally enter into the actual game. As town it's a lot easier, since when scum flips their RVS tends to get analyzed.
Don't worry about talking during the wrong day phase. This thread will only be open when you are allowed to post. If you rolled scum then that thread would only be open at night.
As for post frequency, that's up to you man. I tend to post a lot in the moment because I like to deal with people in a more immediate way. When I'm not caught up I do fewer but bigger posts. If you post withing the prod requirements then you will stay in the game. Post when something catches your eye, or you have a question, or just to say that you are around for a bit if anyone wants to chat.
I'll need to get this logged in with my phone. Btw your avatar picture is a book cover from a guy named Brian Lumley. The Necroscope series. One of my favorite book series growing up.
So while we're asking questions, I'd like to know why formerfish is going after jin so much still after he explained he wasn't going to be around much until the 17th. I still think jin is being suspicious, but is it worth it to continue to question someone who isn't going to be around for a little while? Wouldn't it make more sense to also question other people rather than stick to one person in this phase?
I have no idea how to go about this so, Formerfish seems pretty aggressive but I don't think aggressiveness in a game (at least with newbs) would imply he's scum. I think it would be someone playing it cool so... MooginSoosy seems pretty cool right now diverting attention away from him.
