What's the motivation for town to try overtly hard to look town?

Anytime town get lynched the people responsible need to look at why. Moving onto your argument.

Going back to the actual game at hand, I'm content with our vote on Titus because Pine brought up a good point that it feels off to have a strong personality saying she caught scum right out the gate but have the level-head to produce VCA which apparently she's good at doing.
