from rereading i think grey was trying to softball cassie but did a really bad job at it honestly

cassie's overreaction does feel genuine

like i've been in a grey tunnel before (we were both town though and i basically knew he was town) and i did get pretty nervous irl

but like

it was more because i was worried other people would jump on

yeah i'm not convinced that cassie's interactions with grey are that good any more

plus like look at D3 before and after the guilty

i think they legit thought that grey wasn't tracked because rask trusted them so easily and got complacent and ready to push a ml
