@ Kabenon: my reasoning for not suspecting me is basically because in my recent experience with a game, the one who lurked most of the game and made infrequent posts ended up being town. Then, the mafia was able to sit back and enjoy the ride as the town decimated each other.

I am not sure of that reasoning, if only because in recent experience of mine, the opposite was true...the semi-lurking person WAS scum.

The fact of the matter is that when someone is "lurking" for valid reasons (aka net is down, school in the way, test time, whatever)

it has nothing at all to do with whether they are scum or not.

You just have less information to go on when making a call on that person's alignment and that makes them dangerous...so you replace them and watch and see how the new person acts in their place.

I agree that suspecting someone for lurking alone is kind of silly, especially when it was confirmed by someone else that they were lurking because of something like school, but like I said. The simple fact that lynching a lurker based soley on their lurking status is bad idea doesn't make you more or less town/scum.

Well, so far, what has Aimee provided for the town? She had, basically, only one good post so far this entire game. The rest of it has been, "I'll re-read... lynch kabenon..." But she doesn't provide a case, she doesn't DO anything. A townie would be concerned enough about the welfare of the town to at least post something that resembles a case against someone they believe to be scum, and Aimee has yet to do that. She is the scummiest in my eyes, and to avoid a no lynch, and to lynch scum, I have voted for her. Regardless of who the rest of the town votes for, we HAVE to avoid a no-lynch. A no-lynch just gives the scum a free NK, and we get no lynch information. We need to lynch someone here.

She didn't provide a case because she was in school and ALL of the games she was in suffered. Not just this one.

Dean/Aimee have not posted enough content to appear one way or the other, so I suggest you re-evaluate your position on the matter. Another mislynch because you tunnel-visioned yet again on an inappropriate target does nothing, nada, zilch to help the town.

This answer is not particularly useful. But then, the question was idiotic.

Flameaxe is winning the argument. I don't think his case against Mizzy is strong though. Dean Harper's replacing in is not impressing me, but Kabenon's insistence that he's scum makes me think they're probably not partners, and kab is leagues scummier than Dean.

@ Shanba: Which posts are we talking about here? I find only one post really directed at DH, and that was meant more to be funny, a kind of stream of consciousness post, stating where he was, what he needed to do.

@Mizzy: I don't have a read on him either way. I saw stuff I didn't like with Aimee, mostly based on meta. And until he gives me a reason to remove my vote, it will stay where it is, on his predecessor, because the new guy claims everything from his predecessor, including suspicions and votes, at least in my opinion.

Kab, she's right. If you don't think DH is scum, then leaving your vote on him is not helpful to the town and you should be attempting to scum-hunt for a place to put your vote. Keeping your vote on Aimee/DH makes you look awfully suspicious.

Only partly, since as I pointed out, the reasons you were suspecting Aimee were kind of silly (lurking, omgus, and posting little content) are now cleared up (accept for the omgus on your part) so I don't see how DH can defend against your scumdar reading on Aimee since it was, in my eyes, a false blip.
