but it can be discouraged and made not-as-easy if mods require hyrda PTs if there is going to be a hydra (instead of just permitted skype chat with no hydra PT)
Can you show me the thought process of someone who would discuss ongoing games with this rule and wouldn't without?
There's nothing that says that a fake can't beat the real thing.
You must not imagine that for beings like you and us there can be laughter. The low men laugh, and we envy them. But for us, the higher ones, there is no laughter, only an unending vigil, purely serious, stretching on into the night.
if there is a rule that hydra's must only use a PT that the mod has access to to discuss the game it is in, it's on the players themselves to follow the rule or not
if there isn't a rule saying that, then those who don't give a fuck about the integrity of games and just want to win at any cost / doing anything they can get away with (which includes using skype), they'll do that and feel superior and because "hey there was no rule against it!" whereas if there's a rule at least they know they're a scumbag at heart (whereas otherwise they are just lying to themselves and don't feel such a thing - potentially)
Those who don't give a fuck about the integrity of the games won't feel like a scumbag for breaking the hydra PT rule. After all, they're already breaking the much more serious rule regarding ongoing games. The type of person who would break ongoing games rule is the type to not care about hydra PT rule anyway.

my issue is only if you're using skype to talk about the game you're hydra-d in instead of the hydra PT
my issue is with the mod not being able to monitor all content related to the game they are modding
on my HS we have 2 brothers that play and live together, if they both draw scum they are not allowed to talk about the game anywhere but in the scum PT, to even have a passing comment outside of where the mod can see it, is a no-no, and we trust them to uphold that integrity - as an example
I have no issue if you're skyping with someone you're also in a hydra with as long as you're not doing anything game-related, of course
Do you really think that if I don't care about people censoring themselves in scum PT's that it would matter to me if they do so in their hydra PT's?
They're not game specific because we use one hydra PT for every conversation we've ever had is what I'm saying. Releasing that would mean releasing personal information between friends as well as modding information.
scum pt is a combination of different slots in the game
a hyra pt is one slot with differnt people on it
for me or other mods - we don't care if there are 2 people there. We are treating them as one person with one head. just like how you can think for yourself and a mod can't monitor your thinking process the hydra heas are allowed to whatever the fuck they want out side of the game and mods have no right to even ask about it.

They share a player slot. "Discussing ongoing games" doesn't Fucking apply to people who are playing in the game as a single person any more than talking to yourself or consulting spirits.
when you enforced a rule that everyone should install a mind reader device on their head so you can monitor their thought process we will enforce a rule to not let hydra particpants have unlimited privacy.

Like I get that I'm sure people would be fascinated with discussion about DGBs health or my crippling depression or the setup for the upcoming Polite Mafia II, or our nuanced opinions regarding the President, but some stuff is just none of y'all Fucking business

You are misunderstanding my position. drealmerz is saying that should hydra partners be allowed to speak over Skype, they will inevitably(?) talk about ongoing games other than the one they are in together. I was refuting him.

It's not a grey fucking area. It's black and white. If you're a hydra, yoy may talk about the game you are both in in any way or form you like.

There is no site rule that is broken in the discussion of a game that both hydra players are involved in.
