Let's talk this through ...

We have 12 players alive and currently 11 player-slots (Rach and AllIn count as one). Let's discuss who gets excommunicated possibilities.

1. A single player (aka not Rach / Allin). That leaves us before the Book of Love with 11 players and 10 player-slots. Yeah ... if the Book of Love is used it results in 11 players and 9 player-slots and no scum Nightkill.

2. Rach and Allin somehow get kicked. That leaves us before the Book of Love with 10 players alive and 10 player-slots. Again you are correct ... use of the Book of Love results in 10 playes and 9 player-slots alive and no scum Nightkill.

And I don't think there is any way for an odd number of player-slots to die. So you are correct.

Basically scum only gets to Nightkill if they get kicked and refuse to use the Book of Love.

Which is reason to keep the number of permanent bonds as low as possible to prevent a scum "lynch" resulting in multiple deaths.

Yeah I agree. Still doesn't mean it is a certainty ... it is not impossible that Kuroi is just playing Fake Mafia Traitor for some reason.

But either way I think making DGB and myself a pair and getting rid of us tomorrow helps clear up that possibility quickly.

Um, no.

Jaqen has claimed 1 scum in myself and DGB. Making us a Perm Couple assures a 1 for 1 trade with scum. You do not lynch outside a claimed guilty and let it fester. That's bad play, especially this early in the game where there is time to deal with the fake-claimer if it is proven to be the case. Town needs absolute clarity by tomorrow's lynch if Jaqen is 100% making up his role. And getting a flip on both myself and DGB will reveal if he is.
