none of this answers what i'm supposed to assume. i'm sorry my notion of what actually happened in this game doesn't match up with your notion of what basic setup principle is.

i double-checked with Cabd. all i got was that it would depend on the wording of the roles in question. there might be a block that stops an action from taking effect, and/or a block that stops and action from even being attempting.
