Nothing can be said that is of use to town. No one says anything alignment indicative in RQS, they just answer the question. All it does is disrupt the natural flow of the game and stop it getting off the ground

Town's vote in RVS is essentially random. Scum's vote in RVS (especially when the aim is to hope for a quick deadline) is weighted towards Townies. Overall, having an RVS makes it more likely than random that Town is lynched.

RVS from town makes it a non-zero chance that scum will get votes on a quick day end!
RVS can catch scum, RVS sets up a solid foundation for a game. Scum are at their most awkward and uncertain at the beginning of the game, RQS gives them a way to be natural. RQS cannot catch scum

Since when has RVS ever caught scum? Please give an example. A scum could easily just roll a die and vote for that person. This would set up no associatives whatsoever. (Granted; if they want to be opportunistic in this setup they would probably bias it towards voting Town, but still this on its own is not enough to catch scum).

I have to agree with the BTD votes, RQS is meh, and so is RVS (Though RVS is better) and while i agree with the fact that there is a chance we have a short deadline, i don't agree that not RVSing will actually get us anywhere, and it feels like he is mostly just trying to start a discussion on this then trying to find scum.

As an aside, i think this is 100% scum thinking.
Hell we teach newbies the theory that no lynching in the newbie setup is wrong for the same reason, no lynching today, forces town to lose a mislynch, and gives scum 1 extra kill outside of doctor protects or something like that.
We lose so much from a no lynch, and even the info from a town lynch is better.
