So there is literally no justification for the appeasement other than him supposedly being scared.

To be fair, it was Open 666 and I wound up winning after the entire scumteam suicided. Bit that should make him hella paranoid of me if anything.

In my experience, town that is pissed off at a scumread who advised them off something tends to vote the scumread instead of who the scumread wants them to vote.
