Question, do you guys find it more helpful when I select a character or when I don't when I show the map? I select a character so you guys can see the squares easier but I fear I might be blocking the terrain at the same time.
Franz moves down 2, left 2 and attacks Soldier
Franz attacks Soldier for 14 damage and kills him
Franz Levels up!
Definitely keep selecting, the terrain is still easy enough to see anyway. For the time being, it would probably almost always be better to select Seth in particular, because his movement is so high. From this position he should cover almost the entire map.
Never be sorry for your little time.
It's not when you get there, it's always the climb.
Seth kills one, Gilliam weakens another, which Erika finishes off. I think the third wouldn't be able to kill anyone, though I'm unsure about that.
Spoiler: 2. Hold the wall
Retreat Erika, move Franz onto the fort, using a vulnerary. Leave Seth where he is, and either leave Gilliam where he is or move left one. There are several other ways this could work, but I think this is the best version of it. Seth retreating and being replaced by Franz, who heals himself while Erika sits probably could also work, but that risks Erika getting a crit or two, opening her up for more attacks.
Spoiler: 3. Run away
Gilliam moves onto the Forest, where only one enemy can hit him. (Unless he kills, which is unlikely.) Everyone else can get completely out of range, but not too far so an all out strategy would work next turn. Franz also should be using a vulnerary here. If Erika moves first, Gilliam could also use the one she has for even more safety, but I don't think that would be necessary.
If I were playing solo, I'd probably go for the third option. Not making a move now though, because I could be missing something, and this turn looks dangerous if anything is out of place. Also I'm not sure whether end of turn bypasses the 12 hour rule.

I would recomend the strat: Seth gives all his weapons to someone and then waves his bottom in the ar as everyone heals. Or some variaton of 'run away'.
Regardless: If Fritz can reach the Northern Fort - 2E3N, otherwise I'm not acting yet.
Edit: Can you post a screenshot of what it looks like if you suggest Erika fights a Bandit, please.
