so I'm pretty sure my interpretation of this post as breadcrumbing was completely wrong, because I don't think Fedora would be acting the way they are if I were correct, but the gist of it is that all of Alisae's posts follow this general format of single sentences as their own separate paragraphs, except this is the only one where a sentence is cut off like this in the middle, and it felt like a deliberate choice at the time, and it definitely drew my eyes to the first letters of each line spelling out "doc". I immediately read this as being probably town, because a doc fake claim generally isn't the best idea if any other fake claim is viable, and once the speculation regarding a scum doc started, I realized that it would be even worse.

I'm pretty sure that I was just completely wrong about all of this though??? so, like, whatever friendos

xyzzy and hocho are similar but i feel worse about them. i felt like EP popped in purely to try to town up the slot and it fell flat. i am not going to pretend to be able to read katsuki.

The only thing I remember Xyzzy is doing is picking up on Fedora's crumb and calling them town for ~REASONS THAT ARE SKETCHY~. I don't really trust him; if he was town and he thought he was picking up on a PR tell, I don't think he would be so horribly blatant about it unless he had suspicions on the slot somehow.

I didn't like EP's one post but I can't really knock them for being lost as shit in this game. I'm townreading Katsuki a little for the reasons I've laid out but am trying not to comment too much on them because I'm certified shit at reading Katsuki, just don't think he's the slam dunk lynch people were making him out to be earlier.

I do too. I still can't tell if it's bad town play or bad scum play. Like in either case it's bad play to out the crumb like that. Even for starters saying you're town reading X because you caught a crumb of theirs.

So idk. I'll just kinda ~ignore~ that part and stick with my xyzzy scumread from his other play.

I can see xyzzy as scum, who clearly struggles with producing content, using the crumb as a way to produce a genuine townread, then end up outing it more obviously once pressured.

You're right that it's probably just a weird move regardless of alignment, though.

I mean the idea is that crumbing as town is better because you're not outing PRs but I don't understand how crumbing doc is too suicidal for scum but claiming cop isn't.
