my read on random started off pretty null for quite some time after he replaced. He wasn't doing a whole lot, but nothing from him made me lean either way.

He started to ping me from day 2 for two reasons - the first being his entire day 2 play revolved around this read he got from "end of day [1] voting", (1svt unvoting me and Elena voting kuroi) which was to supposed to put 1SVT as town and Elena as scum. The second being he defended CA with the claim that his setup spec is NAI while pushing Elena.

Keep in mind that all this time 1svt has been a scumread for me. This hasn't changed since the unvote from end of day 1. This read was much stronger than the pings from random on day 2, and it remains to overshadow my read on everyone else.

It continues to carry over to start of day today. From this position it's not hard to read 1svt vs random as scum vs town, upon first glance.

he got conf towned and i forgot he could be recruited. i made a mistake.
within that post i pushed peabody, then grey, then elena. that post wasn't a readslist so much as a thought process. I'm probably going to look at that tomorrow and see which parts i want to push. you over reacted hugely and just decided to jump on an easy push. Do i really call out like 2/3 of the game as cult if im town in a readslist. I think that 1svt is probs cult and panicked because I was onto his buddies. Probably makes the team Peabody, 1svt and Elena/grey/yesiree/fish. annoyingly i think the last one is the one with the deathnote.

i literally said that peabody was cult at the start of the post. and that went on to influence several of the points in the post.
i was referring to me accusing two thirds of the alive players of being cult.
im not 100% on you. The issue is that I don't think you were pregame cult at this point so some of my reasons no longer apply. I could be wrong here. My confidence this game has taken a major blow after CA/Elena and Creature. So I'm not going to force a 1v1 here. And anyway, even if i was confident you were scum there isnt any point taking the risk of me being mislynched if this is indeed lyLo.

good point. I was working off of the assumption that Peabody gave away the deathnote, but I guess it couldve been you that recieved it.
I think if grey or fishy is cult you have it, if you are the only cult you have it, but if elena or yesiree are cult they have it.
which means im leaning towards not lynching fishy as im p sure he doesnt have the deathnote. It is still possible Peabody has the deathnote but less likely.

So, I think it's most productive to look for scum who were scum when CA died. We have more information on them, they were around for the scum lynch, and they are probably a bit more likely to hold the Death Note.

The pool I'm looking at is Peabody, -Grey-, randomidget. Everyone else is mod-confirmed not scum that day, or obvtown that day. I won't go into details as to why.

randomidget - I think this slot was town Day 1. I don't see that claim as coming from scum. Since then, I have a mild gut town read. His posting looks like the kind of stream-of-conciousness stuff that comes naturally as town and is hard to fake as scum.
Grey - no new thoughts. Decently likely scum.
Peabody - decently strong gut town read from his replace in and later scumhunting. Also, voted Crystal at a fairly key time here.

Right. But is that really scum? The vote was quite likely to kick new life into the wagon, with people coming back or joining. Hopping off again doesn't change that, but abandons the bus and with it the chance of getting much credit. The whole sequence doesn't seem like it does much for scum.

Nope. We don't know the rules around passing the DN, but it seems likely that passing has *some* cost to scum; otherwise, the public rules are kinda misleading and silly. So, the best guess is the only pass was CA offloading it.

the only downside seems to be the lack of action. the masons mean that cult needs to take down people as quickly as possible as the lynch pool gets narrowed down.
