What inspired you to want to be a singer?

I loved to sing, and as a kid I thought it would be cool to be famous one day. But the cards just weren't in my favor and even my kids ask me to stop singing sometimes, so we see how well that turned out.

as a kid i was easily influenced by reality tv shows, so when i got into watching australian idol and the x factor, i aspired to be like those singers when i got older! and singing is fun, so i always sing along to songs that are playing when i'm in the car and mumble along for parts where i don't know the words
(and when i got into watching survivor i wanted to go on survivor and compete in the challenges, until i figured out that i'd be way too hungry...and when i liked antm i was like hey i'm pretty tall i could do that!)

If you send me an Identity I'll add you to the Stranger Blob, and if you do so in the near future you can participate as a stranger as early as next round. Generally strangers either submit a bunch of identities to me at once (and I place them in approximately every other round), or if someone is more particular about when they play, generally they'll submit one identity to me when the game's between rounds and I add them to the next round. Some other arrangement is possible; just let me know your preferences.

There's a bunch of examples of Identities that have been used in the spoiler tags in the bottom of the thread OP. The only real rule is to do your best to submit identities that are specific enough that one can reasonably expect won't apply to anyone else. Some IDs that ended up applying to more than one person in the round include Has never broken a bone, Has a fridge with three doors, and Came in Second Place in their High School Trivia Bowl. When that happens I have to ask the original submitter to either make the identity more specific or switch it for a different identity, which I prefer not to have to.

Other recommendations:
- Try not submit an identity that you are uncomfortable elaborating on, because there is a questioning mechanic
- Try to submit something that the contestant can reasonably PoE to some extent based on demographics/vague impressions of people. e.g. "Broke their arm at age 8" is likely specific enough to not apply to anyone else, but is not very interesting to try to figure out
