Going forward, unless explicitly ordered to do otherwise, I will be following Firebringer wherever he goes.

If Firebringer agrees to head back with the task force I follow and this happens on the way back:

Turn to the leader of the task force. "Hail and well met! I am Sir Cerberus, and I am on a quest with my Lord Firebringer. We seek the Holy Grail. Do you know anything of this wondrous artifact?"

If he does not want to go back with them, I ask Firebringer where we shall seek the Grail.

(Aronis v Annadog reminds me of the time I was playing a rogue in DnD and the warlock and I decided we wanted to pull a heist and rob this jewelry store. We cased the joint during the day, with the warlock going inside having magically disguised himself as someone else, while I checked out the possible ways to get inside, and we met the nicest old lady ever, who, upon hearing the warlocks excuse that he had left his money back at the inn, just gave him a super valuable necklace and trusted him to come back to pay for it. That night we steeled our hearts and came to rob the place, and FOUND THE BACK DOOR UNLOCKED. Like, this little old lady was so trusting she just didn't bother taking any precautions at all. We snuck in, and a did a full penetration test on the place, leaving her notes on how to better protect herself in the future, and of course returning the necklace and securing all the entrances behind us.)

Upon arriving, I place myself between Lord Firebringer and the whatever strangers may be around, warily watching everyone around me. Satisfied that we're not about to be attacked, I look at Shaziro and Cheery Dog and urge them to join our quest for the Holy Grail, my Lord Firebringers permission of course.

Tell Shaziro: "I didn't do anything more than you did, we both showed up at the same time." and attempt to give him back the coins. I suggest to Firebringer that perhaps we may want to ask around at a bar or something regarding the Holy Grail, or else perhaps we can find a library of some sort to do some research.

Look or ask around for any guards/police/something like that, and once I find them, ask them if fhey know anything about an artifact known as the Holy Grail, or where I could find someone who might know something about it.

Get directions to the worship hall, tell Shaziro that I don't know if we have any sort of special insignia, and tell fire bringer that the guard said we should head to the worship hall if we're interested in holy things, and also tell him I'll gladly go on this other quest, since we're here already.

I head back inside the bar to investigate the body. I check to see if theres are any clues about the identify of the killer, checking the knife wound to see if it's a straight blade or a serrated one, and investigating the rest of the area where the body was found. If I know of any magic that could help recreate the scene, I use it.

(I feel like I should have less energy now based on the way this world works, as far as I've seen at least? That's why i wanted the energy, to see how much stuff took out of me. ^^)

I go back to Firebringer(taking a look around the inn to see if I spot a woman with long red hair ) and tell him what I learned. I suggest that perhaps we should ask the lady who gave him the quest if there are any women with long red hair who come by the inn/who her husband knew, without telling her the exact details of what happened until we can question that person.

I follow Firebringer. If we happen to see Shaziro on the way I fill him in. I quietly ask Firebringer if he thinks we should tell her the whole story before she finds this woman and things possibly get out of hand.

Try to use some power to restrain the red haired woman so she can't run, or slow her down. If those don't work, attempt to mark her so I know where she goes, and make Firebringer faster.

If/when we catch up to the redhaired woman, keep the innkeeper from getting to her until we can get to the bottom of this.

I tell the innkeeper " If you calm down and let' us do the job you hired us to do, I'll let you go. There's no need to make things worse than they already are."

If it seems like she's going to comply, I'll let her go and ask her to give us some space, then go to help firebringer.

I look at the woman firebringer is holding and see if she looks like the woman from the vision I had. If she does, I tell Firebringer it's the same woman, and follow his lead about what to do next. IF it isn't the woman from the vision, I tell him it's the wrong woman and apologize to her, then go back to ask the innkeeper if there are any other red haired women who are around the inn often, and suggest that this time she just tells us where to go and we'll go ahead while she heads back to the inn.

Tell Firebringer "Milord, she just confessed....perhaps we should let the authorities deal with things from this point?"

Well, I guess that works. I reiterate what the guards told me about where to potentially find out more about the grail, and tell FB I saw Shaziro in a shop, and ask FB if he wants me to go retrieve Shaziro or pursue the lead we have? Or split up and meet somewhere after?

I admire our new banner and thank Shaziro for his time. I ask the shopkeeper for directions to the Worship Hall, and head over there unless FB disagrees.

We go to the worship hall wearing our fancy new armor.

Oh, and we ask about the holy grail/artifacts such as that when we get there, and just generally seek direction, either in the former of direct leads to the grail, or leads to those who can tell us more.

i think we should go back in, this man clearly knows something he isn't telling us. First we ask someone about the Northern Demons though, and if they don't give us any new information, we go back into the temple pretending to be worshipers of this "Aim" god or w/e.

That well, huh? Want me to stamp their temple up with some Holy Grail lovin' banner crests, bossman?

Actually, if we need to go back inside, Shaziro can go in and handle stuff for us, just cover up/change the crest for the Intel gathering mission.

I then return to FB and Shaziro and suggest that we buy transport gems to that city, and then head there. If they agree, I go with them to buy the gems and then transport ourselves.

The world around us is normal, we were returned to the shop and shopkeeper told us where to go to see if we can find information on the Holy Grail.

I will walk up to one of the robed gents that is as isolated as I can find and, using my most powerful available charming spell, will say "Right, I need you to join us on our quest for the Holy Grail and serve as our translator. You'll do that for me, right buddy?"

As I see Shaziro heading towards the person in robes, I say "You do realize those people probably follow the same religion they do down in Cheystone....so he probably can't help us. Might be better to check out the other temple, where they're wearing different robes."

I'll talk to fkrebringwr about whatever he's doing, and try to do the same thing, the same way, to see how the effects differ between the two of us.

I also step in front of Firebringer make sure my weapon is visible, without drawing it.

I look at the crowd gathered around us and move my hands away from my weapon, and scan the crowd, picking out someone close who doesn't seem too afraid to be helpful, and ask them, pointing directly at them "You there, with the *something describing their clothes*. What is all this about? What did we do to gather this crowd?"

I try to gather Firebringer and Shaziro and head off to follow the man, rushing to catch up to him, to figure out what the hell he was doing.

I work to get firebringer, shaziro, and myself close enough to the portal to use it, make sure our transport things are all synced, and prepare to use it, then ask the strange people around us what'a happening. If things appear threatening, I will attempt to get all of us to transport, making sure we keep hold of the books were supposed to be delivering.

I'll nod, confirming our mission, but then add "...do we get to fire large lasers in order to find the grail?"

I also ask if they have some means by which we could transport our stricken leader, who has seemingly been overwhelmed by the shock of recent events.
