If it makes you feel better I think this was the hardest scum game that I've ever played.

With all the PRs town got the game was just on the edge of disaaster the entire time. If we hadn't sacrificed nancy to prevent Titus/PP from being basically conftowned the game would have been a loss

I was surprised no one pointed out how lynching PP prevented the confirmations of both Titus and PP's slot on that day

I had to burn a lot of reserved towncred rushing that lynch down because basically any other lynch besides a Titus lynch (who I wanted in endgame) would have made the game nearly impossible

There were a lot of really obvtown people and I felt like aside from reads on my slot everyone had mostly figured out the game. Town really should have won this tbh.

yeah at some point i realized i was being too obvious about the whole not being pgo thing. i considered doing something like slipping not-pgo in a way that was really fake and obvious

oh and incidentally, be more careful about activity as an alt you're using for one game

That felt really oppressive to play as scum because of all the potential ways for town to confirm themselves with their draft picks and just being hugely overmatched in terms of PRs.

I never thought that you were PGO. You have to read scum chat to understand but I'm not sure if I want to release it because there was a lot of toxicity early.
Basically Alban and Bang felt like I was being selfish by strongarming the night actions and making Alban do the kill and just by pushing on him in general even though I said I wasn't trying to lynch him.

i think alban's replace out really fucked me also. it seemed like a genuine replace out from frustration, esp. considering transc's at around the same time

I think a lot of the reason the interactions between me and Alban felt so abrasive and genuine was that we were both really demoralized about the draft and me pushing on Alban was legitimately pissing him off.
I backed off as much as I could but like I can't claim a scumread on someone and not push on them and it created some friction and then they wanted to kill KTS ??? and it was just kind of an ugly situation.

On D2 if nancy had gotten lynched the game would have been basically unwinnable and I had claimed a scumread on that slot so I came up with that 'nancy gets lynched too much when she replaces in' to fill that.
I didn't expect it to work and honestly I thought on late D2 that we were just going to lose to attrition (if nancy gets lynched either me or Bang needs to get watched and die) but I'm really glad that it did because it swung the game.

don't see any reason why it wouldn't be, really, esp since alts are already an etiquette thing. and the forum gives an option to be invisible when you login but it's been finicky in my experience (i tested it a bit for this game l0l)

Idk like I ended up being abrasive when I didn't want to but that's because this was a really frustrating game. None of us played badly but there was a basically unbreakable Dunn/GBT/Trans townblock and we couldn't actually kill any of them because there were six town PRs. I'm not surprised Alban replaced out.

Making perfect night actions brought the game from 'unwinnable' to 'insanely hard' and that just feels really dumb. From the informed postgame perspective there's still nothing that we could have done better and I was stressed about this game every day.

a pretty huge part of the game is determined by a kind of silly game of wifom, which kind of sucks but i think the mafia community in general is maybe too harsh on unbalanced games (like, this win is just made more impressive and should maybe count as like 1.4 wins)
