Who cares? His actions remind me of one. It's not like my saying that is going to lead to a SirTornado lynch... We really should kill you tomorrow.hasdgfas wrote:Why are we mentioning a Serial Killer before we've had a night?
Anyway... I won't miss Kscope. Maybe you'all are right... looks like he's given up, that's a good sign. But just in case:

I do believe you lynched him regardless of the deadline. It would have fallen at midnight Brussels time, or in 6 hours and 55 minutes from this post. Apologies for not stating this earlier.
A small town somewhere in the middle of nowhere. There is the sinister spectre of the remains of a great water cooling tower in the distance. Green, glowing powder is falling on the town and causing horrific burns. Outside a large, 70's concrete brick building (which, oddly enough, was built in 1998 - the architects were not hugely imaginative) a large crowd is gathering.
The building has a podium placed in the front, in a small plaza area attractively decorated with a mosaic and a fountain. The doors are large, wooden double doors. Their ornate and gaudy carvings are completely out of place in front of the grey, unattractive building. From evenly spaced intervals there are unattractive windows looking out onto the small plaza area out the front. None of the lights are on. This is the mayor's office. The architect of the building, Wonko the Sane, was often believed to be slightly mad. All mayoral business is carried out on the plaza outside, as the podium prevented anyone from opening the doors. The mayor, strangely, is rather unhappy about this arrangement.
On the podium is this mayor. He is a small, rather worried looking man, about 50 years old, balding, wearing tan and beige trousers to match his tan and beige suit. He is currently being harassed by the crowd.
"'Ere! Whatcha gonna do about them radiashun, mate? My wife got zapped this morning, and next thing I know, she's shooting fireballs at my ead!"
"Yea! How're we supposed to enjoy our peace with our wives shooting fireballs at us?"
The mayor's forehead creases nervously. "Uhm, please do be quiet. Please! PLEASE!" His voice barely passes the first ranks of the crowd. He hated this part of the job. Actually, he hated every part of the job, the endless paperwork, the constant pressure, the fact that his office was a draughty plaza and every morning his wife shouted at him for not spending more time with her. He was not a very happy man.
A much larger man suddenly emergde from the crowd and took his place next to the mayor. "" He yelled. The crowd immediately quietened. It was hardly surprising. The man was around 7 foot tall and had been known to wrestle bulls for fun. He was the mayor's bodyguard. It had been questioned whether the mayor needed a bodyguard, but the mayor had been quite insistent. If he was going to have to have this stupid job, he wanted a bodyguard. Besides, the man had a way of commanding respect that the mayor, unfortunately lacked.SHUT. UP.
"Uhm, thank you. Now, if I could have everyone's attention? I'm sure we're all aware that the nearby Chern Obble Nuclear plant recently exploded. We are very concerned and of course taking evey possible action to tyr and, uhm, protect you. And your wives, Mr. Pots."
The crowd, it must be said, were not happy.
"Oh, screw you Mr. Mayor. Come on boys, let's go lynch someone."
Lynching was an unfortunate local tradition that the Mayor had been trying to eliminate for months. Apparently, the first mayor of the town, Ricky the Nutter, had been a great proponent of lynching what he called "varmints, scoundrels and people who annoy me". His successors had largely accepted the practice, but the current mayor believe that it was, "uhm, bad for business"
"Please, uhm, people, let's be civil. Civil! Oh, poppycock. Marv, let's go." The mayor stepped down from the podium as the angry mob, happy to finally be getting some action, ran off in search of a victim.

The town slept well after lynching kscope. Another tradition safely upheld despite the meddling of the mayor and his crony (a word that suggests a small, snivelling man - something you could not really call Hal). As the lights slowly turned off, one by one, a pretty, green, glowing snow began to gently fall. Strange, considering it was August.
After a short interval, one of the lights turned back on. A cloaked figure emerged from the house, his face hidden by his large, red, hooded habit. Looking quickly around to see if he was being followed, he turned and hurried in the direction of the plaza. He turned into the plaza from a side street which would undoubtedly have housed something lethal in a bigger city. Here, however, it was a convenient hiding place from the intrusive streetlights the mayor had insisted on installing in the larger streets.
"Oh... fudge."
A figure was draped across the podium. It had obviously been there for some time, as the green snow had accumulated over his body, causing it to come out in strange red welts where it touched the skin. The man in the red habit stared at him for a while from a distance. Eventually he seemed to have reached a decision about something and turned and walked swiftly back down the alley he had come from, muttering something under his breath. Suddenly, he stopped.
"Hello?"
He turned around and fumbled in his pockets for something. His cowled face hid his look of triumph as he located a match. Quickly he struck it, and peering into the glow created by the match, he thought he saw a figure disappearing in the distance. Then the match went out.
The pungent smell of a carnivore's breath worked it's way up his nose and firmly into the part of the man's brain that dealt with danger. Turning around again, he finally saw.
"Ohfudge"

I'd like to thank hasdagas for hammering kscope without letting him claim. Kscope turned out to be a power role, when we could have instead tested the alignment of a totally useless vanilla claimant like Quagmire.Squeezable icing, flaky pastry crust and sweet, gooey fillings are irresistible.

For the record, I thought each letter represented the first letter of a role in the game. For instance, there are 4 "W" which I thought to signify 4 werewolves. WithToaster Strudel wrote:

Maybe two power roles at most. I think it's more likely that there's five scum and four power roles. I've been in a six-scum 19-player game, but that was two mafias in a no-cross-kill game, so I don't think we've got that many. Four or five makes the most sense...?NEGWLTWWWTKYasons andMailkeepers I have to reckon I supposed wrong.J
I can't believe I was wrong about Yosarian and MoS. I'm going to shut up now.Squeezable icing, flaky pastry crust and sweet, gooey fillings are irresistible.

Huge FOS: Quagmire
This is carried on from yesterday of course. Another couple of people who deserveFOS'sare hasd and Panzer, for their votes without waiting for a claim (hasd especially I've got my eye on today), however, I know only one person who really stands out as deserving of a vote.
Vote: Sir Tornado
2nd post of the game, 7th vote on KScope, not a particularly scummy person IMO, and with no reasons given. Very opportune, and very scummy.
Also, what was the case on KScope apart from lurking? I can't seem to find an especially good one, but we still lynched him, and look at that, we got a powerrole. This isreallywhy we need to make sure we have plenty of reasons for lynching someone before we actually do, instead of rushing aheadwith no claim like Panzer and hasd did. Please delete my comment from your sig...such an awful joke- Battle Mage

I would appreciate a little more reasoning when you're voting me. If it's because I hammered kscope, yes that was completely idiotic, but at least say why.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

The night deaths. Either Peers is NK immune or a town vig tried to kill him or, what I find most likely, scum tried to kill him.
However, I would like to know who Peers protected last night.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont
