What's there to really ask? Hawk seemed somewhat defensive within 3 pages and expected someone to have a decent reason of suspicion against him. This early in the game, nobody is going to have suuuuper good reasoning against anyone. Just pings. Those who think they have super decent reads at this point are probably looking into things to deeply.

Hawks defensiveness is the oddest thing I've noticed so far, but it isn't damning. I've seen town be over defensive early on, and scum. If anything it is just soonerhing worth noting and watching the slot as the game progresses.

I still don't understand the suspicion on TB. This isn't a "I townread him, and y'all are wrong" statement, but rather a "please explain" statement.

Again. There is a difference between scum read and scum lean. The fact that it seems that you are fine just banking off of some else's suspicions while not putting any effort into the push yourself, or even showing any signs of personal suspicion beyond a vote, doesn't put you in the best light in my eyes.

It was day one. The oddest thing that happened was Hawks defensiveness (which I commented on) and me not understanding the push on TB.

So clearly this is a prime example of me only waiting for people to interact with myself.

The other pushes that happened afterwards didnt interest me all that much. Then I had to deal with TTH and the ever so lovely Not_Mafia and his still unknown push against me. Now we are where we are, and I'm still not on board with the push against TB (as I've mentioned) since it seems mostly based on meta that I don't know about, and it looks to me as if he is just starting to get serious. Early on, it can be a pain in the ass for scum to have to generate content, and look natural. I'm going to be on the look out for that sort of thing from people. Guess who fell into that category? I work from null to lean to read to hard-read/confirmed. Usually in that order unless I have good enough reason to jump one of those levels. @grey.

For example: Hawk, Not_Mafia, Jae, and Lucca are slight scum leans. I don't have super strong reasons of suspicion against them, but I have enough reason/pings to keep my eyes on the slots. In some degree I feel fine in voting them like Not_mafia and Lucca. I'm curious to see more from Hawk and Jae, cause right now i'm just with the slots.

People are all up in arms cause i'm not asking questions left and right. One doesn't have to ask a question in order to suspect someone's role all the time. For example, Not_mafia has been fine sheeping an argument, and doing very little himself. That doesn't exactly deserve a question to be asked to him. It doesnt look good in my eyes, and the longer he does it, the worse off it becomes. The only useful thing he has done is ask my how I go from lean to read on people. Overall, this is a game that can get heated and sometimes emotional so people should try and limit toxicity in general when possible.

I've explained myself regarding Hawk early on. I'm scumread in association, so lynch the associations I guess. Going after me before then is goofy. I said we should focus on said trio (w/ myself included) because I know ppl Are willing to vote and maybe defend said Slots with reasoning which would keep the game moving with some sort of focus. Yeah coming to you is picking sides though. There was a suggestion made that LOOKED like outside game communication.

Furthermore one player potentially involved had ignored two warnings about not voting for players how I asked.

It was a rock and a hard place and if I asked either of you it got subjective. So I picked neither side and force replaced.

Asking for clarification and understanding is not picking sides. The issue was NM said that I said it was fine to call me Drake. You freaked out and force replaced us because you couldn't find where I said, "I didn't care he call me that." Thus it

seemed

we had outside communication from the game. I was able to point exactly to where I said in game that I didn't care, and was able to point to other side conversations we had in game regarding the issue shortly after being force replaced. So this idea of possible out of game conversation alludes me. Nobody thought that. Please point to me where players thought that, cause I never saw it like that.

Him calling me something other than my name, even after you told him to not do so, doesn't exactly involve me. Why should I care if he calls me something other than my name and negates his own vote against me? That issue alone should have been dealt without me being punished alongside him.

I liked Fire's advice to you. Maybe having a second/co mod in future games may benefit you. I've modded games myself outside this site, and know how challenging it can be. You want the best game possible. I do not want to bitch you out, but next time consider taking a step back from the game, and should certain issues arise, at least speak with the players in questions first.

Math just for the record, I'm not trying to berate, skold, and bitch you out here. I respect you trying to create the most fair and best environment possible for ppl to play the game. I really do. I've made some questionable calls, and had similar issues with players not happy with what occurred as mod before as well, offsite. You have to make the best call that you think is needed for the game. I just don't think that was the best call regarding our issue, and as a player, I feel obligated to explain my displeasure to you for you to consider in future games you decide mod.
