I disagree. If someone posts on page 1 "I rolled a dice and it came up with you on it, so I'm going to lynch you" and then hard tunnels you and you flip scum, they have 0 right to gloat about it. Where you failed as a scum member - and this is the critical failure - is being so bad that you got lynched on a fucking dice roll. But equally if you do get lynched they have no right to claim they are an amazing scumhunter(assuming they were telling the truth about the dice and it wasn't a reaction test)

and I feel like some players have scumhunting methods that are no better than dice rolls

Unless it is literally a dice roll that the thread unanimously agreed to follow or an automatic policy lynch on D1 then there was something you could and should have done better
