That identity belongs to one of Errantparabola, Realeo, and StrangerCoug. Your final match attempt must go toward this identity.

lol. This is weird because it was that at the time, but it's completely different now.

Basically, that was around the first time i took the effort to start liking songs on youtube, so I could come back to them and listen to them all at once.

Rising Star came from a video I watched of the person who plays Heather Duke in Heathers the Musical (alice lee), who also was in the USA version of that, and it sort of spiralled from there. hillsong was from one of the guys I used to tutor and he would send me a lot of stuff. I don't recall how eurovision song contest started, but a ton of my music comes from other people, so I'm guessing that as well was one of my friends who introduced me to it, and I can probably guess who.
did another ms user do something lovely? recognize their achievements here!

Correct! Congrats on 7 correct matches.

It made me really nervous for you that you chose not to ask Realeo anything so I'm happy about this turn of events :]

Would you like to take unofficial guesses at the rest?

I figured that asking the two of them would have been smarter.

Aristo wanted to be a doctor
Vijarada did the chess thing
Equinox did the crappy Shakespeare
SC did the engineering thing
And EP's been watching a ton of LOTR

Haha this is even worse than I thought it was going to be.

Um let's split [Massachusetts radio station, Pikachu bag, swollen finger, ghost of the economy, strip club, and chopsticks] into a group and the rest in the other group.

I didn't even use the Internet when I was 13.

Anyway I know Haschel and xof better than anyone else so I was hoping they'd be on the same side of the split. But they aren't.

Haschel seems exactly like the type of person who would dress as the ghost of the US economy for Halloween but he was already at least 20 by the time the 2008 recession hit so that makes it seem less likely he'd even be dressing up for Halloween after all. Though the only other one that seems plausible is the strip club story.

Meanwhile the only one that seems plausible for xof is the Olive Garden one (which I rmhad to reread like 4 times to realize that "he" referred to the waiter and not the stranger).

But I guess the point of this is to submit identities that wouldn't be plausible at first glance.

Haschel, why did your uncle take you to a strip club when you were 18?
