i think hes probably going off the high from a few times having read TB right
and he over exaggerated in the process.
i think its much more damning that tb tried to fight it and then just kind of gave up and conceded the point when people pressed him on it. he could be that easy to push around as town, but it just feels like the initial "ali always scumreads me" should have translated into more annoyance if he actually felt that way.
