no, that would be ridiculous

there is nothing that makes vecna's claimed role inherently town and that would be REALLY hard to sell

it's not something unreasonably crippling for scum (like hated which is mostly used as town but even THAT'S not inherently town)

or unreasonably powerful for scum (like a vig)

or a conftown something like friendly neighbor

it's a bum angle. and i don't think dunn talked about it like he thought anyone would buy into the logic.
